My fellow Zambians,
In this season of politics and elections, I urge you to pause and reflect. No candidate, no political party, no amount of money, and no promise of power is worth the shedding of innocent blood.
Think of your children. Think of your family.
Think of your neighbour.
Think of the generations that will come after you.
Do not shed blood, because bloodshed does not end with the act itself the spillage of blood echoes through lineages to fight against marriages, progress, and prosperity. It leaves curses that can haunt generations.
History reminds us: leaders who rose through violence and massacres met tragic ends. Their names are remembered not for greatness, but for destruction. Let us not walk that path.
To the Youth of Zambia, say NO to bloodshed. Say YES to peace. Your tomorrow depends on the choices you make today. If a politician offers you money to cause violence, resist the temptation. Do not carry out their mission of destruction. Protect your future, protect your country, protect your soul.
Above all, remember this truth: we are all brothers and sisters. Whether from Central, Copperbelt, Eastern , Luapula, Lusaka, Muchinga , Northern, North-Western, Southern and Western we are one family under the flag of Zambia. To harm one another is to harm ourselves.
“You shall not murder.” (Exodus 20:13)
This commandment is timeless, which remind all of us that the sanctity of life is sacred, and no political ambition can justify its destruction.
Zambia’s strength lies not in violence, but in unity, peace, and the dignity of it's people. Let us stand together and declare: We will not spill blood for politics. We will safeguard our tomorrow.
