Understanding a Sinner
A sinner is not just someone who makes a mistake, but one who continues in sin as a lifestyle.
1 John 1:8 – We may fall
Proverbs 24:16 – The righteous falls but rises again
So your message becomes powerful when you say: 👉 “I may fall, but I do not stay in sin. Sin is no longer my lifestyle.”
What Every Sinner Needs
1) Mercy (After Confession)
1 John 1:9 – “If we confess our sins, He is faithful…”
Mercy wipes away judgment
2) Salvation (Being Saved)
Romans 10:9 – Confess and believe
Salvation gives a new identity
3) Deliverance
Colossians 1:13 – Delivered from the power of darkness
This breaks bondages and habits of sin
4) Counseling / Rebuke / Teaching
Proverbs 11:14 – In the multitude of counsel there is safety
Hebrews 12:6 – God corrects those He loves
This builds spiritual maturity and discipline
Conclusion (Powerful Declaration)
