*MY HIV-POSITIVE LIVING TESTIMONY*
I tested positive for HIV in 2017 and immediately started taking my medication. Since beginning this journey, I have never been hospitalized for any illness other than routine check-ups related to my antiretroviral (ARV) treatment. To put it simply, I am living a healthy and fulfilling life.
To my family, I am truly humbled by the love and support you continue to show me. Your encouragement gives me the strength to keep pushing forward.
To the Church of God, thank you for standing against false prophecies and for no longer using the pulpit to discourage people from taking life-saving medication. Faith and medicine can work hand in hand, and I am grateful for the role the church now plays in educating and supporting those living with HIV.
To my community, I appreciate the efforts being made to fight stigma. It is encouraging to see that people are now more informed and supportive, rather than judgmental. The battle against stigma is not over, but together, we have made significant progress.
To the politicians, thank you for promoting sports as a healthy way for young people to stay engaged. By doing so, you have provided an alternative to alcohol and drug abuse, helping to protect the health of many.
To the government, I am grateful for ensuring that ARVs and other essential medications are available. Access to treatment is a fundamental right, and your continued support makes it possible for people like me to live long, productive lives.
To my fellow HIV-positive individuals, I want to encourage you to stay committed to your medication. Please do not be discouraged—HIV is not the end of the road. We still have the opportunity to live happy, loving, and healthy lives. With proper treatment, self-care, and a positive mindset, we can achieve our dreams.
