Title; looking for the living in the place of the dead
🔔 the resurrection of the dead has a history, including the death of Jesus Christ. Both in the old and new testaments, the bible is a web🕸️ therefore you can not separate the old testament from the new testament.
🔔a lot of people died, and rose from the dead.
🔔 Here are some of the people who died and rose.
📖 1 kings 17:12-24

🔔There was a certain widow ,who was keeping a man of God.this man of God was Elijah.
🔔 This widow had a son, and one day her son died.
🔔When she told Elijah about this sad News,He said bring your son , Elijah lifted the child three times,breathed into his nostrils and he came back to life.
📖 John 11:38-44
🔔 Another example of people who died and came back to life is Lazarus.
🔔 Lazarus was a friend of Jesus when he got sick Mary sent people to Jesus, but Jesus delayed.
🔔By the time Jesus decided to go and see Lazarus,he was already dead.
🔔When Mary Saw Jesus she said,"master If you were here my brother would have been alive."
🔔 Jesus said take me to his grave, Mary told Jesus that it's now three days since he was buried.
🔔 Jesus said I am the resurrection and the life,who ever believes in me has life.
🔔 When they reached the grave where Lazarus was buried ,Jesus called Lazarus and he came back to life.
🔔 There are other people who died came back to life in the bible
But when all these people died there was nothing special that happened ,even when they rose from death nothing happened.
🔔 But when Jesus died something happened . when Jesus died there was an earthquake and even when he resurrected there was an earthquake.even those who were guarding his grave fainted out of fear.
🔔The difference between those who died and rose in the past, and the death of Jesus Christ is that;
1.. when they died there was no earthquake, Jesus there was an earthquake.
2 .. when Jesus resurrected there was an earthquake.but when they rose nothing happened.
3.. All those people who resurrected in the past died again while Christ died just once and he his still alive.
🔔 that's why his death is special to us , the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ has great impact in our lives.
🔔 The death and resurrection of Jesus has brought both physical and spiritual change in our lives.
🔔when Jesus resurrected there was physical change that happened such that even his own disciples failed to recognize him even after waking with him for a distance.
🔔 He changed spiritually when he resurrected.
🔔 When Jesus resurrected he had no physical or spiritual barriers , he was able to enter into the house where his disciples gathered even when the doors was locked.
🔔Same applies to us if we believe in his death and resurrection there is a drastic change in our lives both physical spiritually.
🔔if we stay in Christ we will be able to do exploits because there are no physical and spiritual barriers 🚧🚧to those that are in Christ.
🔔 Jesus has done it for us through the cross.he said it is finished !
