*GASS 2022 GRADE 12 OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE 💪💪💪💯🎓*

Gibeon Adventist Secondary School has again recorded *a quality 100% pass rate at grade 12 for 2022 final examinations, hence topping all the schools in Northern Province.* This was made public yesterday during the Provincial review and planning meeting held in Kasama and graced by the Permanent Secretary - NORTHERN. *It can only be God through HARDWORKING GASS OFFICERS and SUPPORTIVE PARENTS.* This is yet another great achievement for GASS🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 and the school management would like to thank the church, parents for the usual support; and the pupils for putting Gibeon school on the map as always. *Its GASS all the way 💯👍🏼🙏🏽🙏🏽💪💪💪*

SDA MEMBERSHIP IN ZAMBIA HITS 1.4 M

THE membership of baptized members in the Republic of Zambia has reached 1.4 million.

Speaking during the Big Sabbath Fellowship at National Heroes Stadium, Dr. TOMMY NAMITONDO,president for Northern Zambia Union Conference (NZUC) said that the number of baptised members in Zambia has hit a mark of 1.4 million adding that Sabbath School membership is around 3 million including those who are not yet baptised.

Dr. NAMITONDO who spoke on behalf of the Adventist Church in Zambia stated also that the goal as the church is to reach 2 million membership in 2025.

And Dr.HARRINGTON AKOMBWA, president for Southern African Indian Ocean Division (SID) stated that the number of Adventist members in Zambia first hit a million mark in 2015.

In a sermon, the General Conference president Elder TED WILSON said God wants to use everyone in the final proclamation of the three angels message.

Speaking earlier, President of the Republic of Zambia H.E. Mr.HAKAINDE HICHILEMA said that the Zambian Government will continue to work with the church to meet the developmental needs of the people of Zambia in areas such as education, health and other socio-economic sectors.

Dr Teddy Wilson the General Conference President of the Seventh-day Adventist Church today made a historical visit as he dates Zambia for a second time in 10 years

President Wilson who prefers to be addressed as Elder Wilson was in the campany of his Dear Wife Nancy Wilson , SID President Dr Akombwa , SID Vice President Pastor Ryneke and the two Union Presidents in Zambia Among others.

During his Speech, the Global SDA Leader, thanked the Church in Zambia and it's leadership and a great reception given to him and his wife upon arrival.

Dr. WILSON expected to meet President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA at State House on Monday

The President is expected to worship with the saints in Kitwe tomorrow for a Big Sabbath before visiting Midlands East during the week.

Among other places the leader will visit includes, a tour to Yuka Mission, Riverside institute, Rusangu University among others

Dr Wilson will finally grace the lusaka based churches at the National Heroes Stadium on 4th February where Republican President HICHILEMA is expected to be a Guest.
