Day 6
Preacher: Ev. Chewe Chileshe
Interpreter: Ev. Kasongole
Theme: WHEN SHEEP COME HOME
Theme Text: Luke 15:20–24 “And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way home, his
father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him…
The preacher emphasized that reclamation does not end when a missing member returns. When a missing member return, church leaders and everyone in the church must rejoice
In addition, the preacher added to it that when sheep come home,” the church reveals what it truly believes about grace.
The prodigal story ends not with punishment, but with music, joy, and restored relationship.
If the church mirrors the heart of the Father—watchful, compassionate, and
welcoming—fewer sheep will fear returning. Reclamation will no longer feel like rescue from
danger, but return to belonging.
The God who reclaims also restores. And the church that reflects Him becomes a safe place
for broken people to come home.
