Chibuluma Church of God of Prophecy WISHES YOU A HAPPY NEW MONTH – AUGUST

Welcome to your month of divine visitation
In the name of Jesus Christ, we declare that every closed door shall open, every delay shall come to an end and every battle you have been fighting shall turn into a testimony.

This month, may the Lord order your steps, establish the work of your hands and surround you with His favor as with a shield. Every plan of the enemy against your life and family is cancelled. You shall not be defeated, you shall not be ashamed, and you shall not miss your divine appointment.

We decree that August shall be a month of answered prayers, supernatural breakthroughs, restoration, healing, provision, promotion and overflowing joy what seemed impossible in previous months shall become possible by the power of God.

The Lord will perfect that which concerns me. β€” Psalm 138:8

Welcome to your month of victory. Your testimony is next.

YOUTH SUNDAY HIGHLIGHTS
Ms Kaoma Esther
Theme: Setting our hearts on the word of God and continue to build on the laid foundation
πŸ“– Scripture: John 11:1–44

From the story of Lazarus, Martha, Mary, and Jesus, we learn that God is powerful enough to bring life into every dead situation. However, our faith must be accompanied by action.

1. God helps those who are willing to help themselves.
Faith requires action. We must do our part as we trust God.

2. Serve God with commitment.
When God calls us to come to church, serve, pray, or do His work, we should not always postpone. Our response to God matters.

3. Do not expect God to answer instantly when we delay obeying Him.
If we tell God, β€œI will serve You later,” we should also understand that obedience and faithfulness are important in our walk with Him.

4. Work for God, and He will bless you abundantly.
God sees every sacrifice, every service, and every effort made for His Kingdom.

5. A delayed miracle is not a denied miracle.
Jesus came when Lazarus was already dead, but He still brought him back to life. Nothing is impossible with God.

Message to the Youth:
Let us be a generation that does not only pray for blessings but also works for God. Let us show commitment, obedience, and dedication in His house.

Remember: No situation is too dead for God. When we walk with Him, He brings restoration, purpose, and blessings. πŸ™

πŸ“– Morning Bible Study Highlights

Topic: Forgiveness and Freedom
Teacher: Mrs Mulenga (Youth Director)

Today's study focused on the importance of forgiveness as a pathway to true freedom in Christ. The key scriptures were Hebrews 12:15–17, which warns against bitterness, Mark 11:25, which teaches us to forgive others when we pray, and 2 Corinthians 5:10, reminding us that we will all stand before Christ to give an account of our lives.

A thought-provoking discussion arose when Mrs. Mulenga asked, "Why should we not judge others?" Brother Promise Chewe then asked how this aligns with situations where the Bible appears to require judgment in cases of wrongdoing. Elder Chinyama responded by explaining 1 Corinthians 6:1–3, showing that believers are called to exercise righteous judgment in matters concerning the church while avoiding hypocritical and condemning judgment.

Mr. Losho also contributed by referring to Luke 10:19, where Jesus says, "Behold, I have given you authority to tread on snakes and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy; nothing shall by any means hurt you." He emphasized the authority and victory believers have in Christ. He further shared the story of Pharaoh, illustrating how God brought His people from bo***ge into freedom, reminding us that genuine freedom comes through obedience to God and trusting in His power to deliver.

May we choose forgiveness over bitterness, walk in the freedom Christ has given us, and use the authority He has entrusted to us for His glory.

QUESTION
Brother Kibondo raised a question. Can you truly forgive someone and still deny them access to your life? This remains a question for reflection, and we invite everyone to share their thoughts in the comment section.

MORNING DEVOTION 🌞
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning β€” Lamentations 3:22-23
Every new morning is a reminder of God's unfailing love and mercy. Yesterday may have brought challenges, disappointments, or mistakes, but God has given us a fresh start today. His grace is sufficient, and His strength is available for every situation we face.
As you go through this day, choose to trust God completely. Let go of worries and fears, and place your confidence in Him. He knows your needs, sees your struggles, and is working all things together for your good. Walk in faith, knowing that God is with you every step of the way.

Prayer:
Father God, thank You for Your new mercies this morning. Help us to trust You with our lives and to walk in faith throughout this day. Give us wisdom, strength, and peace as we follow You. May our words and actions reflect Your love and bring glory to Your name. In Jesus' name, Amen πŸ™
Have a blessed morning and a victorious day ahead.

MORNING DEVOTION πŸ“–
But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33
As we begin this new day, let us set our hearts on God and place Him first in everything we do. Many plans may fill our minds, but God's purpose for our lives will always prevail. When we seek His presence, trust His guidance, and walk in obedience to His Word, He provides for our needs and directs our paths.
No matter what challenges or opportunities this day brings, remember that God is in control. Commit your plans to Him, pray without ceasing, and allow His Word to be the foundation of your decisions. As you put God first, He will lead you into His perfect will.

LET'S PRAY
Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of a new day. Help us to seek Your Kingdom above all else and trust in Your plans for our lives. Guide our steps, strengthen our faith, and fill our hearts with Your peace. May everything we do today bring glory to Your name. In Jesus' name, Amen.πŸ™πŸ™
