WATCH FOR MAROON SCARVES AROUND KALULUSHI THIS WEEK!

Porcupine Adventurer Club joins the world Adventurer club in celebrating World Adventurer Day Scarf Week | May 10–17, 2026 🌍

WHAT’S HAPPENING?
This week, our Adventurers ages 4-9 will be wearing ONLY THEIR MAROON SCARVES with their regular clothes to school, shops, and around Kalulushi. No full uniform — just the scarf.

WHY THE SCARF?
For Adventurers, that scarf says: “I’m an Adventurer. I love Jesus. I serve others.”

We’re doing 7 Days of Service Projects leading up to World Adventurer Day on Sabbath, May 16. These kids are proving that ministry has no age limit.

SO WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?
GRAB THAT ADVENTURER SCARF and be part of this wonderful journey of walking with Jesus.
Wear it to work, school, or the market this week.

𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗙𝗔𝗥𝗘𝗪𝗘𝗟𝗟 – 𝗠𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗚𝗨𝗜𝗗𝗘 𝗖𝗢𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗦 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗠𝗔

Chibuluma Main SDA Church hosted the funeral service for our beloved brother, Master Guide Collins Chama. Family, friends, church leaders, and members gathered to honor his life of service and unwavering faith.

The service was graced by church leadership who stood in solidarity with the bereaved family, including Northern Zambia Union Conference Youth Director Pastor Angel Chipulu, the CZC Region B Coordinator, CZC Chaplain, and the CZC Region B Public Relations Officer.

To the Chama family and all who loved him: our hearts remain with you. May the God of all comfort continue to grant you peace and strength in the days ahead.

We did not say goodbye, only “till the morning.”

This serves to inform all members of the burial arrangements for our beloved brother and Master Guide, Collins Chama, Pathfinder Director for Chibuluma Main Church.

𝗢𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥 𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗧 𝗜𝗡𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡
Night Vigil: Those who are able are welcome to sleep at the funeral house today, Monday 4th May 2026.

Uniform: All clubs to be in Class A uniform. Master Guides only to be in full Pathfinder regalia.

Contributions: All churches are encouraged to contribute any amount towards funeral expenses. Individual contributions are also welcome.

𝗙𝗨𝗡𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗟 𝗡𝗢𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗘 – 𝗕𝗥𝗢𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗠𝗔 𝗖𝗢𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗦

It is with heavy hearts that we relay the announcement issued yesterday by the KSYF Secretariat, on behalf of the President and the Youth Executive:

Our brother, friend and fellow Master Guide, Collins Chama, who until his death served faithfully as the Pathfinder Director for Chibuluma Main Church, was called to rest in the early hours of Saturday, 2nd, May 2026, around 02:00 hours.

Funeral Gathering: The family is gathering at Madam Shane’s house, the auntie to Brother Collins in Kitwe West.

Support Appeal: The District Executive appeals to all members to stand with the family during this difficult time. Contributions in monetary form or in kind will be greatly appreciated mealie meal, charcoal, or any assistance for the funeral.

As a church family, let us uphold the Chama family in prayer. Let us mourn with those who mourn and support them as the Lord enables us.

𝗪𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗺

The sky opened. The ground turned to mud. Their clean uniforms became stained and heavy with rain.

But they didn’t stop.

Because Pathfinders aren’t trained to march only when the sun is shining. We teach them to keep stepping when the path gets hard. To hold the line when the storm hits. To remember that character isn’t forged in comfort — it’s forged in the mud.

These young people are a living sermon: Faith isn’t the absence of storms. It’s the courage to march through them, together, with eyes fixed on Jesus.

𝘐𝘴𝘢𝘪𝘢𝘩 𝟺𝟹:𝟸 — “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you.”

In Rain or sunshine, they march on for God, for mission, for each other.
