As Bethel Baptist Church and on behalf of the Mupashi family, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who showed up, supported, prayed, comforted, and stood with us during this difficult time following the passing of Pastor Reuben Mupashi.

Your presence, kind words, acts of service, financial support, and prayers were deeply appreciated and brought great comfort to the family. We are truly humbled by the love and support shown by relatives, friends, church members, neighbors, the Kafue community, and all well-wishers.

May God richly bless each and every one of you for your kindness and generosity.

A THROWBACK TO OUR BUILDING JOURNEY

Today, we take a moment to look back with hearts full of gratitude for how far God has brought us in the journey of our new church building. 🙏🏽

Through every stage from the very beginning to where we are now we have truly seen the hand of God move in ways we never imagined. What once seemed like a vision has continued to unfold into a testimony of His faithfulness, provision, and grace.

These are not just moments… they are memories that will forever be engraved in our hearts. ❤️

We also take this time to honour and salute all the faithful soldiers who laboured at different stages of this work and have since gone to be with the Lord. Their sacrifices, dedication, and tireless efforts have helped shape what we see today. They will never be forgotten.

In their honour, we look forward to dedicating a Wall of Remembrance in the new church sanctuary a symbol of gratitude for lives that gave so much to the work of God.

The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy. Psalm 126:3 (NIV)

THANKSGIVING SUNDAY RECAP | BETHEL BAPTIST CHURCH

The last Sunday of 2025 will surely remain etched in our hearts as Bethel Baptist Church gathered for a powerful and unforgettable Thanksgiving Sunday. The service was truly power-packed, filled with heartfelt praise, sincere thanksgiving, and a deep sense of God’s presence among us.

We were deeply honoured to have Mr. Fredrick Mwalusaka officiate this special service as our Guest of Honour, and we appreciate his presence and contribution to this memorable day.

It was especially beautiful to see a good number of old faces worshipping together once again. From former Sunday School children to past youth members, the fellowship was a reminder that Bethel is more than a church; it is family.

At the close of the service, the fellowship continued as we shared a joyful Thanksgiving meal, creating space for laughter, conversations, and reconnection, a true expression of Christian love and unity.

With grateful hearts, we extend our sincere thanks to everyone who made time to attend, serve, give, and celebrate with us. Your presence made the service complete, and we thank God for each and every one of you.

As we remain in this season of thanksgiving and draw closer to Thanksgiving Sunday December 28, 2025, we as the Church have so much to thank God for.

Among the many blessings we have witnessed this year, one great milestone stands out: the steady progress of our new church building project. We are grateful to God that, by His grace, the installation of WINDOWS and DOORS for the building was successfully completed in the first week of December 2025. This is a powerful testimony of God’s faithfulness and provision.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to every member who has continued to support this great work of the Lord through prayers, giving, encouragement, and service. Your faithfulness has played a vital role in bringing us this far, and we do not take it for granted.

Indeed, when God gives a vision, He also provides the means and the people to bring it to pass. We thank Him for what He has done and for what He is still doing among us. Come join us at our Thanksgiving Sunday, you are invited.

Bethel Baptist Church invites all members, friends,family, and the wider community to join us as we honour and celebrate the life and legacy of our beloved Elder Bertha Hamoonga.

The Memorial Service will be held on the 29th November 2025, at Woodlands Baptist Church, Lusaka.
