A WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT
In any electoral process, there are invariably those who achieve victory and those who experience defeat, as referenced in 1 Corinthians 9:24. However, as we discussed on election day, it is ultimately the divine will and purpose that prevails.
Today, I wish to offer a message of encouragement. Drawing from the words of the Holy Spirit conveyed through Apostle Paul to the Roman Church, specifically in the twelfth chapter and fifteenth verse, we acknowledge the distinct emotions associated with loss and victory. Weeping and rejoicing are naturally linked to these experiences. We are called to demonstrate sensitivity, consideration, and compassion towards one another. This is best achieved by sharing in the joy of those who rejoice and empathizing with those who weep. Should you encounter an individual deeply affected by the election outcome, whether in celebration or sorrow, we are encouraged to align with the Holy Scriptures. Let us choose the path of understanding and remain steadfast in our awareness of God's overarching purpose, plan, and will, knowing that our Heavenly Father has benevolent intentions for us and that His purpose cannot be thwarted. Therefore, remember to rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep. When celebrating, exercise discretion by refraining from overtly rejoicing in the presence of those who are grieving. Conversely, when experiencing sorrow, do not impose your grief upon those who are clearly celebrating.
Ultimately, let us fix our gaze upon the Lord, and He will sustain us in perfect peace, as stated in Isaiah 26:3, enabling our continued Advancement throughout this year and beyond, regardless of our individual perspectives.
Finally, for all who are experiencing either sorrow or joy regarding the election results, let us swiftly transition to a state of perpetual rejoicing in the Lord, our common foundation.( Philippians 4:4, 1 Thessalonians 5:16) For it is with joy that we shall continue to draw from the well of salvation for our ongoing advancement, as indicated in Isaiah 12:3 as read with 1Samuel 12:6 and Exodus 14:15.
May you have a blessed week, and may the favor and abundance of the redemption package bestowed upon us through Jesus Christ—encompassing health, healing, prosperity, peace, and comprehensive blessings—be your lived experience, in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.
Blessings,
Bishop Venture Kafula
