CENTRAL PROVINCE MISSIONS MEETING – PAOG-Z

A powerful Provincial Missions Meeting was held at Ebenezer Cathedral Church in Kabwe, yesterday bringing together leaders from Pentecostal Assemblies of God (PAOG) churches across Central Province.

The meeting was led by the Provincial Bishop, Bishop Clement Muwowo, together with his Provincial leadership, with a strong focus on strengthening the Church’s commitment to missions and reaching the unreached with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The Main Speaker, Bishop Christopher Mukwavi Bishop responsible for Missions and Church Ministries in the Pentecostal Assemblies of God Zambia (PAOG-Z), delivered a powerful teaching on the importance of missions and why the Church must engage in missions.

Bishop Christopher Mukwavi challenged church leaders to understand that missions are at the heart of God’s purpose for the Church and that every believer and congregation has a role to play in taking the Gospel beyond familiar boundaries.

He highlighted that six tribes in Zambia remain completely unreached by the Gospel, reminding the Church of the urgent responsibility to take the message of salvation to communities that have not yet had an opportunity to hear and respond to the Gospel.

Three Key Take-Home Messages on the Mission of God:
1. The Mission Belongs to God – The Church participates in God’s mission; by loving your neighbor as you love yourself. Reach out through showing love to our neighbors. Who is my neighbor? Jesus taught parables to teach how to love your neighbor.

2. The Unreached Must Be Reached – The Gospel must go beyond our churches to communities to those who have never heard it and responded to Christ.

3. Every Church and Believer Has a Role – Missions require prayer, giving, sending, going and supporting those called to take the Gospel to the nations. Do something about missions work.

The gathering was hosted by Bishop Wilson Phiri of Ebenezer Cathedral Church, whose hospitality provided a meaningful environment for fellowship, teaching and reflection.
The meeting served as a timely reminder that the Church is called not only to gather, but also to GO out and reach out.

WELCOME SERVICE FOR BISHOP JUSTINE MULENGA -GILGAL MISSION CENTER-PAOG.

On Sunday. 27th September, 2026, a memorable welcoming service was held at the Gilgal Commission Center of the Pentecostal Assemblies of God in Chelstone, Lusaka, to welcome Bishop Justine Mulenga, his wife, family, by the congregation and PAOG National leadership. The service was well attended by different stakeholders and the body of Christ.

Bishop Clement Muwowo of Central Province represented the Bishops from all 10 Provinces of Zambia, conveying greetings and solidarity from the Church leadership across the nation.
The service was graced by Bishop Simusa, who presented the Presiding Bishop of the Pentecostal Assemblies of God Zambia as the guest speaker.

It was a beautiful celebration of fellowship, unity, faith, and leadership as the church welcomed Bishop Justine Mulenga and his family into this new chapter of ministry.
