THE DANGEROUS DEAL

As Israel approached the Promised Land, the tribes of Reuben and Gad noticed that the land outside Canaan was excellent for cattle.

They asked Moses for permission to stay behind, trading their inheritance in the land of promise for immediate comfort (Numbers 32).

Centuries later, they were the very first tribes conquered by invaders.

Settling for what looks convenient right now can sabotage your long-term destination.

When you settle for an ungodly relationship, a compromise at work, or an easier lifestyle outside God's specific path, you miss the fullness of His layout.

The outskirts of God's will are always the most vulnerable to the enemy’s attacks.

We need revival and reformation

THE DANGER OF TOMORROW

In Acts 24, the Roman governor Felix sat listening to Paul speak about righteousness, self-control, and the judgment to come.

Felix grew terrified, but instead of repenting, he dismissed Paul, saying, "When I find it convenient, I will send for you."

History records that a convenient time never came for Felix.

The enemy does not need to convince you that God is a lie, he only needs to convince you to wait until tomorrow.

Every time you ignore an urge from the Holy Spirit, your spiritual ears get heavier.

Postponing your obedience is a form of arrogance.

It assumes that tomorrow is guaranteed and that your heart will still want God when you get there.

We need revival and reformation.

THE MOCKERY OF LIP SERVICE

God slammed the religious establishment through the prophet Isaiah, "These people come near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me" (Isaiah 29:13).

They kept up appearances, but their inner lives were totally empty.

God is not impressed by your church attendance, your religious vocabulary, or your social media bio.

He evaluates your hidden motives.

When you cultivate an outward image of holiness while harboring hidden sins in private, you live a dangerous double life.

Hypocrisy fractures your integrity and leaves you defenseless when temptation strikes.

We need revival and reformation
