Today's topic : TRUST
Main scripture: Acts 3v1-11
Preacher: Mrs Florence Sibutali
What is TRUST?
Trust according to the Hebrew word means BATACH and Greek PISTEUO both mean lean or to be confident in.
Trust is not just belief but believing God exists.
- According to Acts 3 we learn from it that Peter and John Trusted and dependended on God and not their understanding.
- Children of God should trust God in all circumstances,
John 14 v1
“Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me.
- Learn to not lean on your own understanding. Proverbs 3v5
- God surely knows the plans he has for us ,all we need to do is put our trust in Him .Psalm 138v8
- Beloved, make the lord your hope . Jeremiah 17v7
We pray that we put our trust entirely in God our hope and your life will never be the same .

As we conclude the month of May, we reflect on our series titled "Open the Eyes and Ears."

Throughout this journey, we looked at biblical examples of people whose eyes and ears were opened by God:

• Samuel hearing God's call – 1 Samuel 3
• Peter's revelation of Jesus Christ – John 21
• Paul's conversion and conviction – Acts 9:1-19 and Acts 7:58

A key question remains: Why should God open your eyes and ears?

1. To bring understanding of your purpose as a believer.
2. To see the things of the Spirit, for the Spirit birth to spirit, and the flesh birth to flesh. John 3v6
3. To receive clear guidance from God.
4. To see the truth, enabling you to recognize lies, false teachings, and circumstances through the lens of truth rather than fear.

As we enter a new month, may God open your eyes and ears so that you may be transformed and gain a deeper understanding of the world around you.

May the Lord bless you abundantly.

This month of May, Rev. Cynthia Mukuka has been teaching us on the series
“Open the Eyes and Ears of My Understanding.”

We encourage our social media family:
- To pray that God opens our eyes and ears
- To pray, seek God, and work. Paul was a tent maker and Jesus was a carpenter.
- To evangelize. Let’s preach nothing but the Word of the Lord. Paul was uncompromising on sound doctrine.
- To be knowledgeable and value education. Paul was educated.

*Side note:* Stand firm even in the hardest times. Paul endured beatings and imprisonment, but his pillar was God alone.
Seek God today, not tomorrow. No one knows what tomorrow holds.
