Most Ladies think marrying a pastor is a blessing,So you begin to picture yourself on the poster besides him, walking into the church holding hands together, and everyone honouring you as the mother of all nations. Well none of the above is true dear! Let me give you some clarity on this subject.
Marrying a pastor it’s a calling and you must have been called for such ministry. This ministry it’s called backyard ministry, it’s the same with a video camera man in the film 🎥, he will shoot the whole video yet not even once when his face shows up! You know why? He knows his purpose. You can’t marry a pastor if you’re not broken. You can’t Marry a pastor if you’re too sensitive. You can’t marry a pastor if you can’t hold the act of gossips. You can’t marry a pastor, if you don’t like a pretender. Pastors are very good pretenders, sometimes knowing what people are saying behind his back, he acts as if everything is okay, so as to protect the ministry. You can’t marry a pastor if you’re too talkative.
A man of God, is more worse than a drunkard and a womanizer companied together especially those who hear God. Sometimes what you plan is not what happens, Sometimes when you need him the most, that’s when God needs him the most. You always have to understand before marrying him, you found him married to Christ.
Pastors are not celebrities, they’re servants. Their lives is full of mixed feelings, one person will come with good-news, they’re supposed to celebrate with him, another one with sad news, they’re supposed to cry with him. The same people that troubled you the whole month for prayers, after getting the job, are the same people that will start to insult you, for taking their money. If you become poor they will not believe in you, if you become rich they will still accuse of stealing church’s money, at the end of the day it takes a true wife to comfort her husband to be strong and stay forcused.
That’s what it means to marry a pastor!
