HONOURING MOTHERS AND FATHERS, A CORNERSTONE OF GOD'S LAW

The central message for the divine service on Sunday, August 23, 2026, anchored on the truth that God is deeply pleased when parents and children maintain a harmonious and loving relationship.

​God calls humanity to honour parents, acknowledging that they owe their physical existence to them.

​In his teaching during the divine service in Simeno, Gamela, on this Sunday morning, Apostle Ringson Ndambo emphasized that children honour their mothers and fathers through respect, obedience, and dedicated care, and that this responsibility is not restricted to the years of childhood only; rather, it is a lifelong commitment to showing lasting appreciation for the immense love and sacrifices our parents provide.

​To illustrate this divine principle, the Apostle drew upon the example of Jesus Christ, noting that while in the temple as a child in Jerusalem, He demonstrated that His ultimate priority was fulfilling the will of His heavenly Father. Nevertheless, He remained submissive to His earthly parents and obediently returned home with them.

​Furthermore, in His final moments on the cross, Jesus exemplified immense earthly responsibility by entrusting the care of His mother to John.

​The Apostle reiterated that by extending patience, practical care, forgiveness, and respect to our parents, we mirror the patient and sacrificial love of God Himself, ultimately honoring our heavenly Father through the way we cherish our earthly families. He called upon every parent to diligently care for their children, instruct them in God's commandments, and always recount His wonderful works.

​To the children, he reminded them that by honoring their mothers and fathers, they fulfill the law of God and tangibly demonstrate their love for the Creator.

​District Rector Milton Sitambwaze, Assistant District Rectors Peter Muleya and Stanley Mweembe (all of Masuku), along with the host District Rector, Mike Simata, were called to serve.

​During the service, the Apostle bestowed a marriage blessing upon the newly married couple.

291 members attended this divine service.

THE LATE DISTRICT ELDER PAMPILA LAID TO REST

Following the divine service at Airport Church on Sunday, August 16, 2026, Apostle Ringson Ndambo proceeded to Choma Central Church to officiate the funeral service for the late District Elder (ret) Samuel Muzyamba Pampila, who passed away on Friday, August 14, 2026, aged 94.

Anchored in 2 Timothy 4:7, the Apostle paid tribute to the late District Elder, highlighting his vibrant enthusiasm for God's work throughout his active years as a minister in the church. He emphasized how District Elder Pampila dedicated his professional skills as an architect to design and plan numerous church buildings across the Apostle Area.

Furthermore, the Apostle noted that even after retiring nearly 30 years ago, he remained a steadfast, committed member of the church until his death.

The Apostle urged the family members to honour his memory by remaining faithful, continuing the spiritual fight, and running the race until victory was won.

During the service, District Rectors Kephas Zyambo, Lackson Munakabayo and Abishy Mudukula, along with Assistant District Rector Emmanuel Nyundu, were called upon to share their testimonies. They remembered the deceased as an exemplary servant of God, a devoted family pillar, and a deeply dedicated believer who was consistently found with a Bible whenever visitors called on him.

Funeral proceedings concluded with his burial at his farm residence in Choma's Old Kabanana.

In attendance also were former Energy Minister Christopher Yaluma and the Acting Permanent Secretary for Southern Province, Mr Gift Monde, who attended as a family member.

CALL TO ONENESS - DIVINE SERVICE AT AIRPORT CONGREGATION

The message for the Sunday divine service on August 16, 2026, focused on the core truth that God grants us oneness, and that we must do everything within our power to preserve it.

On this day, Apostle Ringson Ndambo ministered to a congregation of 722 members at Airport church in Choma, basing his sermon on John 17:20-21 [excerpt].

In his sermon, the Apostle stressed that oneness is both a divine gift and a continuous responsibility for humanity.

To illustrate this point, he reminded the congregation that Jesus prayed not only for the disciples of His time, but also for every generation that would come to believe through their word.

He urged the members to actively strive to live out this unity. By doing so, they would not only demonstrate the love of Christ to the world, but also experience the true fullness of life in Him.

Accompanying the Apostle were District Rector Boniface Munsanje of Lupata along with all Choma-based district ministers.

Called to assist in the divine service were District Rectors Munsanje, Martin Muchimba, Lackson Munakabayo, and Innocent Simaamba...

Following the rendition of the closing hymn, the congregation rose to sing 'happy birthday' to Sister Moidah Ndambo, spouse of Apostle Ringson Ndambo, who was celebrating her special day.

DEATH NOTICE

​District Elder (ret) Samuel M. Pampila (94) has passed away at his residence in Old Kabanana Compound, Choma.

​District Elder Pampila will be remembered for his decades of devoted service and shepherd-like care for God’s people across the various districts he served in the then Choma/Kalomo Apostle Area.

​Area Apostle Ringson Ndambo has expressed deep sorrow and extends his heartfelt condolences to the Pampila family. He has urged the members to commit the bereaved family to prayer and offer their support during this time of sorrow.

APOSTOLICITY RENEWED - APOSTLE RINGSON NDAMBO DEDICATES THE 79 YEAR OLD KALUNDU CHURCH, AS NAMWALA TOUR CONCLUDES IN NAMUSONDE

The divine service on Sunday morning, August 9, 2026, explored the apostolicity of the Church, with the message emphasizing that apostolicity is a defining characteristic of the Church of Christ.

During the divine service in Kalundu, Namwala Treasure district, Apostle Ringson Ndambo stated that Jesus Christ established His Church as an institution of salvation. He sent the Apostles to proclaim salvation to mankind, and even after the death of the early Apostles, the apostolic doctrine has continued to be preached.

This apostolicity has been renewed today through the active presence of the Apostle ministry.

The Apostle called upon the congregation to follow Christ within the fellowship of His Apostles and to fulfill their special mission.

The divine service was based on 2 Corinthians 5:20

"Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God"

The highlight of this divine service was the dedication of Kalundu Church, which has been in existence for about 79 years, having been established in 1947, and stands as the first congregation established in the Namwala area.

Serving along were District Rectors Simaamba (Nakeempa in Choma), Chrispin Ng’andu (Namwala), and Milton Hamutiki (Namakube), as well as Assistant District Rector Mwanamuyaya of Luubwe.

A total of 321 members attended the service.

Following the dedication service, the Apostle with his entourage proceeded to Namusonde in Kabulamwanda District for the final divine service of his two-day visit to Namwala-based districts.

In Namusonde, Galatians 5:19–21 served as the Bible text.

In his message, the Apostle noted that unchecked human impulses inevitably lead to self-destruction and communal decay.

He reminded the congregation that belonging to God requires active vigilance over one's internal motives and external actions, urging members to surrender fleshly control in favor of spiritual transformation.

Called to serve were District Rectors Hamutiki, Simaamba, and Katibu, as well as Community Evangelist Oliver Shibwato and Shepherd Mitas Simuzingili.

A total of 112 members attended this service.

This concluded a pastoral tour that earlier included divine services conducted in Kabanga (Niko District) and Tuunga (Namwala District).

SUMMARY OF DIVINE SERVICES CONDUCTED BY APOSTLE RINGSON NDAMBO IN KABANGA AND TUUNGA

Namwala – August 8, 2026

Accompanied by District Rectors Innocent Simaamba and Milton Hamutiki, Apostle Ringson Ndambo visited Kabanga congregation in Niko district and conducted a divine service on Saturday morning, August 8, 2026. This was the Apostle's first visit to this congregation.

The entourage was received upon arrival by the host District Rector, Kebby Katibu.

A total of 145 members gathered to partake in the divine service, which was based on the Bible text from Romans 14:19;

"Pursue the things which make for peace and the things by which one may edify another"

Referring to this scripture, the Apostle called for the intentional cultivation of harmony and mutual growth within the congregation. He urged the members to actively avoid actions or attitudes that cause division, reminding them that true Christian fellowship is sustained when members consciously choose to build one another up in faith, love, and patience.

Called to assist during the service were District Rectors Simaamba and Hamutiki, as well as Shepherd Mitas Simuzingili.

A highlight of the divine service was the dispensation of the Holy Sealing to 35 souls.

Following this service, the Apostle and his entourage proceeded to Tuunga, in the Namwala district rector area, for a second divine service later that afternoon.

District Rector Chrispin Ng'andu (host) was on hand to receive the visitors upon arrival.

A congregation of 231 members gathered to receive spiritual nourishment.

The Bible text for this service was taken from Galatians 5:22–23, focusing on the fruit of the Spirit;

"Love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control"

In his message, the Apostle emphasized that these divine virtues are the visible evidence of a life transformed by the Holy Spirit. He encouraged the members to allow the Spirit to guide their daily character, noting that cultivating love, self-control, and kindness enables Christians to withstand worldly challenges and serve as beacons of Christ's grace.

District Rectors Hamutiki, Simbuwa, and Simaamba were called to serve along.

During this service, another highlight was celebrated as 21 additional souls received the Sacrament of Holy Sealing.

Later, the Apostle and those accompanying him retreated to Namwala town to rest and prepare for the continuation of their pastoral journey the following day in Kalundu (Treasure) and Namusonde, in the Kabulamwanda district.
