Matthew 6:5-15
[5] “Also, when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites; for they love to pray [publicly]standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets so that they may be seen by men. I assure you and most solemnly say to you, they [already]have their reward in full. [6] But when you pray, go into your most private room, close the door and pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees [what is done] in secret will reward you. [7] “And when you pray, do not use meaningless repetition as the Gentiles do, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. [1 Kin 18:25-29] [8] So do not be like them [praying as they do]; for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him. [9] “Pray, then, in this way: ‘Our Father, who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. [Luke 11:2-4] [10] ‘Your kingdom come, Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. [11] ‘Give us this day our daily bread. [12] ‘And forgive us our debts, as we have forgiven our debtors [letting go of both the wrong and the resentment]. [13] ‘And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil. [For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.]’ [Luke 11:2-4] [14] For if you forgive others their trespasses [their reckless and willful sins], your heavenly Father will also forgive you. [15] But if you do not forgive others [nurturing your hurt and anger with the result that it interferes with your relationship with God], then your Father will not forgive your trespasses.

LET US PRAY...

Dear God!

Thank you for the gift of life this morning.

We pray for your unlimited protection and favor upon our lives.

Forgive us where we have wronged you and grant us thy salvation.

We pray for the sick, heal the land oh lord! We pray with thanks giving in our hearts.

In Jesus's name we pray. Amen!

OUR WEDNESDAY MORNING BIBLE VERSE

Good Morning

Here is our Word for today:

Verse: 1 Samuel 12:16

‘Now then, stand still and see this great thing the LORD is about to do before your eyes!’

- Doing great things is part of God’s awesome character and nature.

- No situation or circumstance is too hard for Him to handle.

- There are great things that the Lord wants to do for you.

- Be expectant, stand firm in your confidence and in your faith – He is able!

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for the wonderful things that You want to do for me. I give You every area of concern and worry, and I ask You to work things out for my good and for Your glory and honour. Amen.

Lord, of heaven and earth, we bow our hearts in prayer.

Thank You for all of our yesterdays,todays and tomorrows.

May we keep our minds stayed on the good and positive occurrences in our lives.

May we direct our focus away from the negative and reach out to the ones who give us comfort and peace.
