Difference between the Scriptures, and the Word of GOD,
A teaching on knowing the difference between the scriptures, and the word of GOD, for the scriptures give men instruction and information, while the word of GOD gives men revelation knowledge, and it inspires all the scriptures.
JESUS is the living word of GOD who inspires all the scriptures that testify of him!.
Matthew 22:29 "JESUS SAYS, You do err, not knowing the SCRIPTURES nor the power of God".
Hebrews 4:12 "For the WORD of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart".
Brothers and sisters, There is a great difference between knowing the scriptures and the word of GOD, for all scriptures are given by the inspiration of GOD, and they are profitable for reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness.
But the word of GOD is what inspires all the scriptures, and the word of GOD is POWERFUL, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing the dividing apart of soul and spirit, joints and marrow, and is a discerner of thoughts and intents of the heart.
The scriptures are the instructions, that are given by the inspiration of GOD, and all the scriptures are profitable for reproof, correction, and instruction, but they are not the power of GOD, they are not sharper than any two-edged sword, they are not piercing the dividing apart of soul and spirit, joints and marrow, and neither are they a discerner of thoughts and intents of the heart.
But the word of GOD is all of these things, it is sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing the dividing apart of soul and spirit, joints and marrow, and is a discerner of thoughts and intents of the heart.
The scriptures give men instructions and information about GOD, but the word of GOD gives men the POWER OF GOD, the WISDOM of GOD, and the REVELATION KNOWLEDGE of GOD, in CHRIST JESUS.
For it is impossible for you to spiritually understand or even discern the scriptures, unless JESUS personally reveals the scriptures unto you, by revelation knowledge.
Luke 24:27 "And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, JESUS expounded unto them in all the SCRIPTURES the things concerning himself".
Luke 24:45 "Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the SCRIPTURES ".
John 5:39-47 "JESUS SAYS, Search the SCRIPTURES; for in them you think you have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
And you will not come to me, that you might have life.
I receive not honour from men.
But I know you, that you have not the love of God in you.
I am come in my Father’s name, and you do not receive me: but if another shall come in his own name, him you will receive.
How can you believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that comes from God only?
Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuses you, even Moses, in whom you trust.
For had you believed Moses, you would have believed me; for Moses wrote of me.
But if you do not believe Moses writings about me, then how shall you believe my words?".
John 1:1-5 "In the beginning was the Word/JESUS, and the Word/JESUS was with God, and the Word/JESUS was God.
The same JESUS was in the beginning with God.
All things were made by JESUS; and without JESUS was not any thing made that was made.
In JESUS was life; and the life of JESUS was the light of men.
And the light shines in darkness; and the darkness did not comprehended it".
John1;14 "And the Word/Jesus was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth".
John 6:63 "JESUS SAYS, It is the spirit that quickens; the flesh profits nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life".
But there are some of you that do not believe me. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that did not believed him, and who should betray him.
Revelations 19:13 "And JESUS was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called THE WORD OF GOD".
Brothers and sisters, we have so many people in the body of Christ who do not know JESUS as the living word of GOD, and neither do they possess the revelation knowledge of GOD in CHRIST JESUS, and you will always know them by their fruit, because they will always try to use the same scriptures that testify of CHRIST JESUS against CHRIST JESUS.
They will even try to tear down JESUS words with Paul’s words, the prophet’s words, the apostle’s words, Moses words, and all the scriptures that testify of CHRIST JESUS, because they do not possess the revelation knowledge of GOD in CHRIST JESUS for themselves.
And when you have no real love for the truth, then it becomes easy for you to try to tear down the truth you have no love for!
Matthew 21 ;31-32 "Whether of them twain did the will of his father? They say unto him, The first. Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you.
For John came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not: but the publicans and the harlots believed him: and ye, when ye had seen it, repented not afterward, that ye might believe him".
Revelation 22;21 "The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen ".
