RESURRECTION SUNDAY

Luke 24 :1
1.On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb.
2 They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, 3 but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.
4 While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them.
5 In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, “Why do you look for the living among the dead?
6 He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee:
7 ‘The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’ ”

Matthew 27:57–61

Jesus Is Buried

57 When it was evening, there came a rich man from Arimathea, named Joseph, who also was a disciple of Jesus.
58 He went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus. Then Pilate ordered it to be given to him.
59 And Joseph took the body and wrapped it in a clean linen shroud.
60 and laid it in his own new tomb, dwhich he had cut in the rock. And he rolled a great stone to the entrance of the tomb and went away.
61 Mary Magdalene and the other Mary were there, sitting opposite the tomb.

GOOD FRIDAY

Matthew 27:28-29.

They stripped him and put a scarlet robe on him,
29 .and then twisted together a crown of thorns and set it on his head. They put a staff in his right hand. Then they knelt in front of him and mocked him. “Hail, king of the Jews!” they said.
30 They spit on him, and took the staff and struck him on the head again and again.
31. After they had mocked him, they took off the robe and put his own clothes on him. Then they led him away to crucify him.

The Crucifixion of Jesus
32 As they were going out, they met a man from Cyrene, named Simon, and they forced him to carry the cross.
33.They came to a place called Golgotha (which means “the place of the skull”).
34 .There they offered Jesus wine to drink, mixed with gall; but after tasting it, he refused to drink it. 35 .When they had crucified him, they divided up his clothes by casting lots.
36 .And sitting down, they kept watch over him there.
37. Above his head they placed the written charge against him: this is jesus, the king of the jews.

7. I declare that every seed you will sow in 2026 will bring forth fruit of God’s favour resulting in open doors for greater impact and influence in Jesus Name.
8. I declare that you will recover your lost position and possessions that the enemy has stolen from you in Jesus Name.
9. I declare that the favour of God will catapult you to the top in Jesus Name!
