If God is with us, why are our children struggling?
Many parents carry this question quietly in their hearts. They pray for their children, bring them to church, teach them right from wrong, and desire the best for them, yet there are moments when they wonder why certain battles continue. Some watch their children drift from spiritual things. Others see attitudes, behaviours, fears, or struggles that concern them. In those moments, Gideon's question begins to echo within their hearts:
"If the LORD be with us, why then is all this befallen us?" (Judges 6:13)
My dear friend, today I want us to discover God's answer to this question.
π KEY SCRIPTURES
"And Gideon said unto him, Oh my Lord, if the LORD be with us, why then is all this befallen us?" β Judges 6:13
"And let them make Me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them." β Exodus 25:8
"Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." β Proverbs 22:6
"If a man love Me, he will keep My words: and My Father will love him, and We will come unto him, and make Our abode with him." β John 14:23

What I have learned through Scripture is that God's answer has always been His Presence. When God spoke to Israel in the wilderness, His greatest desire was not merely to bless them or protect them. His desire was to dwell among them. He said:
"And let them make Me a sanctuary; that I may dwell
