*FUNERAL ANNOUNCEMENT*

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Agogo Mukhuzenji Mphanza of NAD 6 Section.

Agogo Mphanza passed away on 8th June 2026 at Chipata Central Hospital, where she was receiving treatment after a long illness.

Today, 10th June 2026 at 14:00hrs, her mortal remains will be taken to her home village,(Msamunye V) in Chief Mpezeni’s area awaiting for burial.

The funeral service will be spearheaded by Feni R.C.Z.

May the soul of our beloved departed Grandmother rest in Eternal Peace. 🕊️

The RCZ Synod Executive and the Clergy under Magwero Presbytery visited the funeral house for the late Ngwenyama Inkhosi Ya Makhosi Paramount Chief Mpezeni IV of the Ngoni people,at Ephendukeni Palace in Feni.

May the soul of the departed King rest in Eternal Peace 🕊️.

The Reformed Church in Zambia (RCZ) has paid tribute to the late Paramount Chief Mpezeni IV of the Ngoni people.

Speaking after visiting the Ephendukeni Palace to sign the book of condolences and to sympathize with the Ngoni Royal Establishment,RCZ Synod Moderator Reverend Ackson Banda highlighted the significant role of Mpezeni's chieftainship in the establishment of the Church,which was founded at Magwero in 1899 on the chief's land.

Reverend Banda noted that the late Chief, Inkhosi Ya Makhosi Mpezeni IV,had a deep fondness for the church and would frequently attend when called upon.

The moderator,Rev. Ackson Banda was accompanied by the Actuary Rev. Dr Isaac Banda,Synod Secretary Rev. Dr. Daniel Banda,Magwero Presbytery Executive and It's Clergy.
