Rev Billy Nyirenda encouraged the church to be planted in the house of God, based on Psalm 92:12–15. He emphasized that the righteous are compared to a palm tree that flourishes and a cedar of Lebanon that grows strong, stable, and enduring. He reminded the church that being planted is more than simply attending church; it means being rooted and committed to God, His Word, prayer, fellowship, and service.

He further encouraged believers not to allow difficult seasons to stop their spiritual growth, but to remain rooted in God and continue flourishing. He emphasized that God expects His people to remain fruitful throughout every season of life, even in old age. He challenged the church to move from simply being present to being planted, from attending to belonging, and from receiving to serving and bearing fruit for God's Kingdom.

Sunday Prayer Service

Today, we gathered for a prayer service led by Rev. Billy Nyirenda, centred on ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭29‬:‭7‬ ‭(KJV‬‬) “And seek the peace of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away captives, and pray unto the LORD for it: for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace.”

We prayed for peace to prevail in Zambia and across all our cities, as well as for God’s peace, unity and love to reign in families. As a church, we continue to stand in prayer, trusting God for peace and unity in our nation and communities.
