📖 2026 Mid-Year Prayer & Fasting – Day 5
Theme: Passion for the Vision

Today's Topic: Overcoming Discouragement

Key Scripture:

> "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." — Joshua 1:9

Prayer Points:

Pray for strength and courage to overcome every form of discouragement. (Joshua 1:9)

Pray that God will renew your hope, faith, and confidence in Him. (Isaiah 40:31)

Pray against fear, doubt, and every plan of the enemy to make you give up before your breakthrough.

Encouragement: Discouragement may come, but it does not have the final word. As you pray and fast today, remember that God is with you. Be strong, keep trusting Him, and never give up. The Lord will strengthen you and bring to pass every promise He has spoken over your life.

Today's Topic: Doing New Things

Key Scripture:

> "Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?" — Isaiah 43:18–19

Prayer Points:

Pray for the grace to remain focused on Jesus and not be distracted. (Luke 9:61–62)

Pray for the courage to let go of the past and embrace the new things God is doing in your life. (Isaiah 43:18–21)

Pray that God will open new doors, new opportunities, and lead you into His perfect will.

Encouragement: God is a God of new beginnings. As you pray and fast today, trust Him to make a way where there seems to be no way. Leave the past behind, stay focused on Him, and believe that He is doing something new in your life.

Prayer Points:

Pray for God to give you a clear vision and direction for your life. (Proverbs 29:18)

Pray for grace to work diligently and complete every assignment God has given you. (Ecclesiastes 2:4–9)

Pray for success in everything you do and ask God to establish the work of your hands. (1 Kings 18:14)

Encouragement: A person with vision has direction and purpose. As you pray and fast today, ask God to open your eyes to His plan for your life. May He give you the wisdom, strength, and favor to pursue your vision with diligence until you see His promises fulfilled.

Prayer Points:
Pray for grace to work diligently and faithfully so that God may bless the work of your hands. (Proverbs 28:19)

Pray for wisdom to prepare well and build your life according to God's plan. (Proverbs 24:27)

Ask God for wisdom, understanding, and a teachable heart in every area of your life. (Proverbs 17:16)

Encouragement:
God honors diligence and blesses those who work faithfully. As you pray and fast today, ask Him to give you wisdom, discipline, and strength to work with excellence. May the Lord establish the work of your hands and cause you to prosper according to His will.
