While taking my walk😎 (yes, I do take walks), the Spirit of God asked me a question: “Why is it that the children of Israel complained more than Moses in the wilderness?”

My first response was that Moses had lived as a prince before hardship 😅, while the children of Israel were born into hardship. Unfortunately, my answer didn’t produce much light in my spirit.

Then the Spirit of God said Moses had a personal encounter with Him (Exodus 3), while the children of Israel knew God through Moses and never got to know Him personally.

He went on to say that having a personal relationship and fellowship with Him doesn’t just produce His works, but also opens you up to His personality( knowing who He really is) ..You get to know Him beyond the miracles He can perform.

Do not let the medium God is using be your finish line. Go beyond and encounter God for yourself. He is beyond the beautiful worship songs; He is beyond that powerful sermon you hear.

God is calling us to a personal relationship with Him.
