Acts 9:1-9 KJV
[1] And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest,
[2] and desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.
[3] And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:
[4] and he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
[5] And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.
[6] And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.
[7] And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man.
[8] And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus.
[9] And he was three days without sight, and neither did eat nor drink.

2. *Handcuffs / Rope - Sin Can Bind Others and Ourselves.*

Verse: Saul wanted believers "bound unto Jerusalem" (v.2)

Lesson: Saul intended to imprison others, yet he himself was spiritually imprisoned by pride and ignorance.

Application: Many can see physically but remain spiritually blind.

9. *Empty Plate / Cup - Fasting and Reflection Bring Transformation.*

Lesson: Saul paused everything after meeting Jesus.

Application: Quiet reflection and prayer can prepare us for change.

10. *Broken Crown / Trophy - Human Strength Cannot Stand Before God.*

Verse: Saul fell to the earth (v.4)

Application: Pride falls when we stand before God's greatness.

*Closing Thought:*

"God can stop, humble, transform, and redirect anyone - even the person who seems farthest away."

This passage reminds us that no one is beyond God's reach and that encounters with Christ change lives completely.

TO GOD BE THE GLORY.

F***Y J CROSBY
SDAH 341 AH 144 CS 191.

To God be the glory, great things He hath done,
So loved He the world that He gave us His Son;
Who yielded His life an atonement for sin,
And opened the Life-gate that all may go in.

CHORUS
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord,
Let the earth hear His voice;
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, Let the people rejoice,
O come to the Father, through Jesus the Son,
And give Him The glory, great things He hath done.

O perfect redemption the purchase of blood,
To every believer the promise of God;
The vilest offender who truly believes,
That moment from Jesus a pardon receives.

Great things He hath taught us great things He hath done,
And great our rejoicing thro’ Jesus the Son;
But purer, and higher, and greater will be,
Our wonder, our transport, when Jesus we see.

*Choosing the Right Career**Blueprint: From Discovery to Purpose.*Key Text:"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and ...

*Choosing the Right Career*

*Blueprint: From Discovery to Purpose.*

Key Text:
"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." — Proverbs 3:5–6

Career choice is more than selecting a job; it is choosing a life path. A career affects service, family life, finances, spiritual growth, and influence. As Christians, career decisions should not be driven only by money, status, pressure, or trends, but by God's purpose and direction.

*STEP 1: Begin With God.*
Before choosing a career, seek God's guidance.
Why?
God sees the future while we see only the present.

Practical actions:
Pray specifically for direction
Read Scripture for guidance
Ask God to reveal gifts and purpose
Avoid rushing major decisions

Biblical Example:
Young Solomon asked God for wisdom before leadership.

Questions:
Have I asked God before making plans?
Am I seeking His will or my own desires?

Blueprint Principle:
Prayer first; decisions second.

*STEP 2: Discover Yourself.*
God created everyone with different talents, personalities, and abilities.

Identify:
A. Talents
What comes naturally?
Examples:
Teaching
Speaking
Organizing
Leadership
Writing
Problem-solving
Caring for people
B. Interests What do you enjoy doing?
C. Personality Ask:
Do I enjoy working with people?
Do I prefer systems and data?
Do I enjoy creativity?
Do I like helping others?
Practical exercise:
Write three lists:
I am good at:
I enjoy:
People say I am:
When these overlap, purpose often becomes clearer.
Blueprint Principle:
Purpose usually leaves clues.

*STEP 3: Understand Career Categories.*
Many young people know titles but not pathways.

Examples:
Health Sciences:
Doctor
Nurse
Pharmacist
Laboratory Scientist

Business and Commerce:
Accountant
Procurement Officer
Entrepreneur
Banker
Economist

Education:
Teacher
Lecturer
School Administrator

Technology:
Software Developer
Data Analyst
Cybersecurity Specialist

Engineering:
Civil Engineer
Electrical Engineer
Mechanical Engineer

Ministry and Service:
Pastor
Chaplain
Counselor

Creative Careers:
Graphic Designer
Media Specialist
Music Producer
Blueprint Principle:
Exposure creates vision.

*STEP 4: Research Thoroughly.*
Never choose a career simply because:
Friends are doing it
Parents insist on it
It sounds prestigious
It appears profitable

Research:
Required subjects
Entry qualifications
Training duration
Universities or colleges
Cost
Job opportunities
Work environment
Growth prospects

Questions:
What skills are needed?
Is demand increasing?
What challenges exist?

Blueprint Principle:
Information prevents frustration.

*STEP 5: Match Gifts With Career Direction*
Not every good career is the right career.

Example:
Someone may admire medicine but dislike science and patient care.

Ask:
Does this fit my strengths?
Can I succeed here?
Can I serve others through this path?

Think:
Gifts + Passion + Opportunity + Purpose

*STEP 6: Seek Wise Counsel.*

Key Text:
"In the multitude of counsellors there is safety." — Proverbs 11:14

Speak with:
Parents
Teachers
Mentors
Church leaders
Professionals in the field

Ask:
What is this career really like?
What mistakes should I avoid?
What should I prepare for?

Blueprint Principle:
Learn from people already on the journey.

*STEP 7: Prepare Academically.*
Dreams require preparation.

Build strong habits:
Study consistently
Improve weak subjects
Learn communication skills
Develop discipline
Practice time management

Remember:
Opportunities often favor prepared people.

*STEP 8: Gain Exposure Early.*
Do not wait until graduation.

Try:
Volunteering
Church leadership
Internships
Community service
Skills training
Job shadowing

Examples:
Want teaching? Help teach children.
Want leadership? Lead youth activities.
Want business? Start small projects.

Blueprint Principle:
Experience reveals reality.

*STEP 9: Evaluate Spiritual Impact.*

This question is often forgotten:
Will this career strengthen or weaken my relationship with God?

Consider:
Work schedule
Environment
Ethical demands
Ability to worship
Influence on values

Questions:
Can I remain faithful?
Can I represent Christ there?
STEP 10: Create a Career Action Plan

Example roadmap:
Grade 10–12
Discover strengths
Research careers
Improve grades
After school
Apply for training
Gain experience
Seek mentorship
During studies
Build skills
Network
Volunteer
After graduation
Continue learning
Serve faithfully
Develop professionally

Common Mistakes to Avoid:
❌ Following friends blindly
❌ Choosing money over purpose
❌ Ignoring God
❌ Copying social media lifestyles
❌ Waiting until the last minute
❌ Choosing careers only for status

Final Challenge
God does not simply call people to church ministry; He calls teachers, engineers, nurses, entrepreneurs, accountants, leaders, and professionals to serve Him.
Career is not merely about earning a living. It is discovering where your gifts meet God's purpose and using them for His glory.

9. Jesus says He will be with us and will never leave us.

WALKING WITH GOD.

MRS L D AVARY STUTLE
SDAH 554 AH 284 CS 295

O let me walk with thee, my God,
As Enoch walked in days of old;
Place thou my trembling hand in thine,
And sweet communion with me hold;
E’en tho’ the path I may not see,
Yet, Jesus, let me walk with thee.

I can not, dare not walk alone;
The tempest rages in the sky;
A thousand snares beset my feet,
A thousand foes are lurking nigh;
Still thou the raging of the sea;
O Master, let me walk with thee.

If I may rest my hand in thine,
I’ll count the joys of earth but loss,
And firmly, bravely journey on;
I’ll bear the banner of the cross,
Till Zion’s glorious gates I see;
Yet, Saviour, let me walk with thee.

*Local Hymn # 65 - ‘Tis So Sweet To Trust In Jesus.*

‘Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus,
Just to take Him at His word;
Just to rest upon His promise;
Just to know, ”Thus saith the Lord.”

CHORUS
Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him;
How I’ve prov’d Him o’er and o’er!
Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus! O for grace to trust Him more!

O how sweet to trust in Jesus,
Just to trust His cleansing blood;
Just in simple faith to plunge me,
‘Neat the healing, cleansing flood.

Yes, ‘tis sweet to trust in Jesus,
Just from sin and self to cease;
Just from Jesus simply taking,
Life, and rest, and joy, and peace.

I’m so glad I learned to trust Thee,
Precious Jesus, Saviour, Friend;
And I know that Thou art with me,
Wilt be with me till the end.

*Local Hymn # 15 Jesus Loves Me.*

Jesus loves me! This I know, For the Bible tells me so;
Little one to Him belong, They are weak but He is strong

CHORUS
Yes Jesus loves me, Yes Jesus loves me
Yes Jesus loves me; …The Bible tells me so.

Jesus loves me! He who died, Haven’s gates will open wide;
He will wash away my sins. Let His little child come in.

Jesus loves me! Loves me still, when I’m sad or weak and ill;
From His shinning Throne on high,
Comes to watch me where I lie.

Jesus loves me! He will stay, Close beside me all the way,
If I love Him, by and by He will take me home on high.

Theme: "When Michael Shall Stand".

Main Text : Daniel 12:1

Daniel 12:1 KJV
[1] And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
https://bible.com/bible/1/dan.12.1.KJV

Other Texts: None.

SUMMARY NOTES:

1. *Michael Standing Up - Christ Ends His Priestly Ministry.*

Object Lesson: The Courtroom Judge Rising.

Imagine a judge standing up after a case is decided. No more evidence is accepted because judgment is finished.
“Michael” represents Jesus Christ, not an angelic creature. His “standing up” symbolizes the close of probation and the end of Christ’s intercession in the heavenly sanctuary.

Spiritual Lesson:
There comes a time when decisions for eternity are finalized. We must seek Christ now while mercy is still available.

2. *The Time of Trouble - Storm Before Deliverance.*

Object Lesson: A Ship in a Violent Storm.

A ship may shake violently during a storm, but if anchored securely, it survives.
This “time of trouble” with the final crisis before Christ’s second coming.

Spiritual Lesson:
God’s people may face hardship, persecution, and worldwide confusion, but faith in God keeps them secure.

3. *Michael Protects His People.*

Object Lesson: A Shepherd Defending Sheep.

A shepherd stands between wolves and the flock.
Christ stands for His faithful followers during earth’s darkest hour.

Spiritual Lesson:
God never abandons His children in crisis. Heaven actively protects the faithful.

4. *The Book - Heaven Keeps Records.*

Object Lesson: A School Register.

Only students whose names remain on the register graduate.
The “book” refers to the heavenly records - often understood as the Book of Life.

Spiritual Lesson:
Our daily choices matter. Salvation is not accidental; it involves a living relationship with Christ.

5. *Deliverance Comes to the Faithful.*

Object Lesson: Israel at the Red Sea.

The Israelites seemed trapped until God opened the sea.
Likewise, God’s people may appear helpless in the last days, yet divine deliverance will come unexpectedly.

Spiritual Lesson:
When human help fails, God’s power becomes most visible.

6. *Preparation Must Happen Before the Crisis.*

Object Lesson: Noah Building the Ark Before Rain.

Noah prepared before the flood started.
Daniel 12:1 teaches preparation before the time of trouble arrives.

Spiritual Lesson:
Prayer, Bible study, obedience, and character development cannot be postponed to the last minute.

7. *A Universal Crisis Requires Personal Faith.*

Object Lesson: Five Wise and Five Foolish Virgins.

All ten virgins expected the bridegroom, but only five were prepared.
The final crisis affects the whole world, but salvation remains personal.

Spiritual Lesson:
Church membership alone is not enough. Each believer must personally know Christ.

8. *God’s People Are Identified Before Deliverance.*

Object Lesson: A Seal on Important Documents.

Official documents are marked with a seal showing ownership and authenticity.
God’s faithful people receive His seal through loyalty and obedience to Him.

Spiritual Lesson:
Our allegiance to God should be visible in character, worship, and faithfulness.

9. *Trouble Does Not Mean God Has Lost Control.*

Object Lesson: A Refiner’s Fire.

Gold passes through intense heat to remove impurities.
The time of trouble is not evidence of God’s absence, but part of the final purification of His people.

Spiritual Lesson:
Trials can strengthen faith and prepare believers for eternity.

10. *Final Victory Belongs to God’s People.*

Object Lesson: Sunrise After a Dark Night.

Night may feel endless, but sunrise always comes.
Daniel 12:1 ends not with destruction, but with deliverance.

Spiritual Lesson:
The faithful can live with hope because prophecy ends in victory, resurrection, and eternal life with Christ.

Key themes reflected in Daniel 12:1 include:
i. Christ’s ministry in the heavenly sanctuary
ii. The investigative judgment
iii. The close of probation
iv. The time of trouble
v. The Second Coming of Christ
vi. The protection of God’s remnant people
vii. The Book of Life
viii. Salvation through faithfulness to Christ

*Closing Thought:*

As we reflect on Daniel 12:1, we are reminded that we are living in solemn yet hopeful times. Though prophecy points to a coming time of trouble, it also assures us that Jesus Christ - our Michael, Defender, and High Priest - stands for His people. Camp Meeting is therefore more than a gathering; it is a divine call to revival, preparation, faithfulness, and deeper surrender to God. As we prepare for this Camp meeting, may our names remain written in the Book of Life, our hearts anchored in Christ, and our lives committed to finishing God’s work with courage, unity, and hope, knowing that final deliverance belongs to the faithful.

*Theme : Local Hymn # 195.*

O FOR THAT FLAME.

WILLIAM H BUTBURST
SDAH 264 AH 149 CS 166

O for that flame of living fire,
Which shone so bright in saints of old;
Which bade their souls to heaven aspire,
Calm in distress, in danger bold!

Where is that spirit, Lord, which dwelt,
In Abram’s breast, and sealed him Thine?
Which made Paul’s heart with sorrow melt,
And glow with energy divine?

That spirit which from age to age,
Proclaimed Thy love, and taught Thy ways?
Brightened Isaiah’s vivid page,
And breathed in David’s hallowed lays?

Is not Thy grace as mighty now,
As when Elijah felt its power?
When glory beamed from Moses’ brow,
Or Job endured the trying hour?

Remember, Lord, the ancient days;
Renew Thy work, Thy grace restore;
And while to Thee our hearts we raise,
On us Thy holy Spirit pour.

*32 The Lord`s Our Rock.*

The Lord’s our rock, in him we hide,
A shelter in the time of storm
Secure whatever may betide,
A shelter in the time of storm

CHORUS
Mighty rock in a weary land,
Cooling Shade on then burning sand,
Faithful guide for the pilgrim band,
A shelter in the time of storm.

A shade by day defence by night,
A shelter in the time of storm;
No fears alarm, no foes affright,
A shelter in the time of storm.

The raging floods may round us beat,
A shelter in the time of storm;
We find in God a safe retreat,
A shelter in the time of storm.

O Rock divine, O refuges dear,
A shelter in the time of storm;
Be thou our helper, ever near,
A shelter in the time of storm.

*39 My Hope Is Built.*

My hope is built on nothing less,
Than Jesus’ blood and righteousness
I dare not trust the sweetest frame,
But wholly lean on Jesus’ name.

CHORUS
On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand;
All other ground is sinking sand,
All other ground is sinking sand.

When darkness seems to veil his face,
I rest on his unchanging grace;
In ev’ry high and stormy gale,
My anchor holds within the vail.

His oath, his covenant, and blood,
Support me in the whelming flood;
When all around my soul gives way,
He then is all my hope and stay.

When he shall come with trumpet sound,
O may I then in him be found
Clad in his righteousness alone,
Faultless to stand before the throne.

GOD BLESS YOU ALL.😇
