Today the united church of zambia Nchanga congregation took time to minister at Nchanga North General Hospital through the distribution of food stuff to the patients and the caregivers the team was lead by the two student ministers and the executive ,the hospital was represented by the Assistant Hospital Administrator Madam kaseya who thanked the church and appealed to the church to continue doing good . Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”

Yesterday The United Church of Zambia Nchanga congregation demonstrated love and commitment by giving back to the community by cleaning Nchanga North General Hospital, which is one of the largest referral centers in our District ,this activity drew members from all the sections which demonstrated the spirit of oneness towards the goal.

Today we remember the greatest act of love and sacrifice, a reminder that through Christ’s suffering came our redemption and hope.

BAD HABITS YOU AND I MUST AVOID IN CHURCH AT ALL TIMES.

1. Constant lateness to church services and meetings. The church service starts at 07:30 hrs, try by all means to reach the Church premises by 07:20 hrs.

2. Refusing to sit where the stewards direct you to sit. It is not only disrespectful to the stewards on duty but also is a sign of pride. Please stop it. Sit where you are directed to sit.

3. Always running out to pick up calls with your phone ringing out so loud. Kindly put your phone on vibration or silent mode as soon you get to church.

4. Receiving calls repeatedly during every church service or meeting. It shows where your heart, your values, and priorities are. Stop it. Unless you are on call, kindly put your phone on silent mode.

5. Chewing gum, eating, or sleeping in church during service. Remember, the church is neither a cinema hall nor a hotel. Please show reverence to your maker.

6. Sitting down during prayer or praise and worship sessions without any medical or health reasons.

7. Always checking the wall clock or your wristwatch during church hours.

8. Chatting and playing games on your phone during church service. Why can't you just stay home and browse the internet all you want.

9. Always leaving the church before closing prayer or benediction for no particular appointment, making others who choose to stay till the end of service feel they don't know what to do with their time.

10. Gathering outside the church with other members to gossip, talk about other congregants dressing or discuss business,farming, football, and politics while the service is going on.
