1 Peter 4:10

Whatever we render to God is, through His mercy and generosity, placed to our account as faithful stewards....

Our Heavenly Father, all we have is Yours, help us to be faithful stewards of everything you have entrusted to us.

God's Justice and Mercy

"And the Lord said to him, 'Pass through the city, through Jerusalem, and put a mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh and groan over all the abominations that are committed in it.'"
Ezekiel 9:4, ESV

God sees and cares about the injustices in our world, and He calls us to be deeply concerned about them as well. His judgment is righteous and His mercy is available for those who seek Him.

Dear God,
Help us to seek justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with You. Remind us of Your just, yet merciful, character, that we may strive to emulate You in our daily lives.
In Jesus' name, Amen.

Ezekiel 28:6-7, NIV

Pride can make us forget our place and the grace that God has given us.
It is important to always maintain a spirit of humility and gratitude.

Dear God,
Help us to always recognize our limitations and to remember that all we are and have is due to Your grace. Guard our hearts against pride and teach us to walk humbly with You.
In Jesus' name, Amen.
