Title: How To Manifest
Sub Topic: Keep Saying It Until Manifestation Happen
1 Kings 18:41-45
"⁴¹Then Elijah said to Ahab, 'Go up, eat and drink; for there is the sound of abundance of rain.' ⁴²So Ahab went up to eat and drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; then he bowed down on the ground, and put his face between his knees, ⁴³and said to his servant, 'Go up now, look toward the sea.'
So he went up and looked, and said, 'There is nothing,'. And seven times he said, 'Go again'
⁴⁴Then it came to pass the seventh time that he said, 'There is a cloud, as small as a man's hand, rising out of the sea!' So he said, ' Go up, say to Ahab, 'prepare your chariot, and go down before the rain stops you'
⁴⁵Now it happened in the meantime that the sky became black with clouds and wind, and there was a heavy rain. So Ahab rode away and went to Jezreel."
In the early days of school, one way our good teachers train children to read is by repetition. They would read a sentence, and tell pupils to repeat it several times. We are told that children end up mastering words in a sentence to an extent that they get accustomed or in other words it becomes part of them.
Equally, with spiritual things you need to understand that repetition is permissible as well if you want things to change. What I mean is you keep saying and praying it until a cloud forms on top of your head like Elijah did. Elijah was a human being like you and I the Bible tells us (James 5:17-18), he prayed and it rained; you can also pray and there shall be manifestation of rains. But let's look at the sequence of events:
- Elijah first declared hearing a sound of rains(v41)- this is sensitivity to the Spirit of God, what you hear in the Spirit declare until it manifest
- Elijah told Ahab to go and eat (42)- as Ahab was eating, Elijah was on top of Carmel praying; if your destiny is to manifest you must be able to differentiate time for eating and time for prayer, while others are eating yours is prayer and the results will be seen
- Elijah tells the servant to check for signs of clouds (43)- six times there was nothing; he didn't stop praying; you shouldn't stop praying because nothing has happened 'for the vision is for the appointed time though it tarries wait for it, it shall come to pass (Habakkuk 2:3)
- The seventh time, a cloud as small as a hand of man formed (v44)- small cloud can represent small beginnings, keep pushing in your life, career, business, profession, gifting, ministry, marriage one day that small cloud will cover your sky and result into rains.
- Lo and behold, the sky became dark with clouds (45)- and there was a heavy rain; heavy rains sometimes come small clouds which continue to multiply. 🔥 Fire doesn't just happen it is a result of consistence tarrying in the presence of God where clouds are formed because it is God who sends the rains.
Prayer
I declare and decree that that it shall rain over my life in Jesus name
I declare and decree that the sky shall become dark with clouds and bring rains over my life in Jesus name
I declare and decree that I shall be on top mount Carmel in prayer in Jesus name
I declare and decree that I shall tarry in prayer until a manifestation happens in Jesus name
And every saint shout AMEN
