DISTRICT ANNOUNCEMENTS
1. The District pastor is worshiping with Bethel Company in the Church building promotion.
2. The October Crusades are starting on 18th (tomorrow) October, 2026. All the churches and companies which did not conduct these crusades must do so in October .
3. The choosing of Organizing (special) and Nominating Committees for the election of church officers for the years 2027/2028 shall be held on Sabbath, 17th (today) October, 2026 in all the churches.
4. Church elections of the 2027/28 office bearers shall be held on two days: Sunday, 25th October , 2026. The venue is Mutondo Church. Time is 08:30hrs. On Monday, 26th October, 2026, Nominating Committees from all the churches along Kabwe road will gather at Hillcrest for nominations of 2027/2028 church officers. The chairperson will be the district pastor on all the two days of nominations.
5. Camp meeting expense goals remain the same. Congregations which are still owing must settle these balances
6. Take note also that the camp meeting offering goal is k1035 per church and Company. A few congregations have achieved this goal already. All the congregations with balances must also clear the balances within this month
7. All the congregations that have not yet submitted bags of maize for the support of the caretaker must do so as soon as possible. Inform the camp meeting chairperson, elder Hankede when you do so.
8. Following the elders board that was convened during the camp meeting days, it was agreed that each congregation will pay an amount of k450 only in order to meet the target for the purchase of the District Pastor's Motor bike.
9. There will be a MWZC Youth Alive Camp from 20th to 27th December, 2026. Each delegate will pay k250 . The venue is Anchor Institute in Keembe Mission District near Muntemba Dam . To attend are all Local church Youth leaders. Registration for this camp is up to 31st October, 2026.
10. There will be prison visitation at Momboshi prison on 08/11/2026. Each congregation to contribute k223 towards this program.
11. All lay preachers that were trained should each go and get their passport size photos at Br. Muleya's shop and forward them to the pastor who in turn will forward them to the conference for processing of preaching licences. Each lay preacher should pay k20 for passport photos
12. Pastor's appreciation day will be held on 24th October, 2026 throughout the General Conference. Each district should prepare to support and appreciate their pastor.
