Today's Word
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. Psalms 119 v 105

Thoughts on Today's verse

God's promises, which are written in the Bible, help us find our way in a world with many different opinions. They also show us the way in a time when cynicism and hopelessness are so common. What a great gift it is to be able to say what God wants in our own words! If only we'd walk in the light!

Today's Prayer

Thank you, Loving Father, for revealing your truth to me via Scripture. It greatly inspires me to know that you love me enough to speak in language so that I may hear and understand your message. Make my heart desire for your truth revealed in your Word. I want to grow to be a virtuous and kind kid in your family. With all my affection I pray to you in the name of my elder Brother and Savior. In Jesus' precious name I pray. Amen. 🙏🙏🙏

‭‭1 Peter 2:9 NIV‬‬
[9] But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

Reflections of the word
Explicitly excluded. Unaccepted. Discarded. Abandoned. Forgotten. Separation. Unpicked. Each of these approaches addresses a different aspect of feeling unimportant. Satan provides us with the means and opportunities to feel bad about ourselves through our sinful bodies. Nevertheless, God adopted us into his family through Christ and gave us a reason to live. These two words are among the most significant in the Bible. It is now our privilege to belong to the people of God. We are part of the winningest of winning teams. It has been a pleasure to work with you! As a result of God's grace, his love has engulfed us and we now belong to his family. It is Peter who urges those who have been treated unfairly and mischaracterized to decide whether to think of themselves as "nobodies" or under their new names. Peter's words also touch our hearts, which is fortunate for us. You are a child of God, my dear friend in Christ. As Moses, Esther, Paul, and Mary Magdalene, you are members of his enduring and victorious people. Merchandise has removed the power of sin and failure from you and given you the power of grace through the Holy Spirit who resides within you. It is therefore imperative that you live today as the person you are in Christ and not as the person you were previously.

Today's Prayer
O Father of Mercy and God of all grace, thank you for making me new. You made me your child, a part of your people, and someone who has a purpose in the world around me. Please help me hear how you see me and not how Satan sees me. Please help me figure out who I am based on what you say about me, not what I say about myself. I thank you for making me who I am and freeing me from what I used to be. In Jesus' precious name I pray. Amen.

Today's Word
Proverbs 9v10
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.

Thoughts on today's Word
We try to get so many things, but only one of them makes us wise. Paul told the people of Athens that God made us to look for him and find him (Acts 17). The wisdom of Proverbs keeps bringing us back to "knowing God" and having a deep, reverent respect for him as the source of wisdom. We can only understand our priorities, needs, purposes, goals, problems, and issues when we know who the Lord is and spend time with him every day.

Today's Prayer
God is Holy, Majestic, Good, and Eternal. I have to say that I know so much less about you than you know about me. But your faithfulness in my life, your power shown in history, your grace shown to so many through the cross of Christ, and your promise to bring me home to you one day all keep me going. I want to know you so that my life can be lost in your will. Not for my own glory or gain, but for your praise, I ask that you show yourself to me in the things I do today. In Jesus' precious name I pray. Amen.

Today's Word
Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD. Psalms 27v14 .

Thoughts on today's Word.
Waiting is the one thing we don't like to do. Maybe that's why God wants us to learn how to do it so much. There is something good about staying strong during hard times and staying true when bad things happen. So God gives us times to wait so he can see if we are really looking for him or just for something new or easy.

Today's prayer
Wonderful father, I am aware that you have patiently waited for me a number of times in order for me to demonstrate my faith, turn from my sins, become more holy, pray to you, behave more responsibly, and assist those who are unable to assist me in return. As I wait for you to guide my choices, respond to my needs, and demonstrate your presence in my loneliness, please lend a hand. I really want to be with you and adore you. In Jesus' precious name I pray. Amen

"Man proposes, heaven disposes." Most people are quick to offer advice and make big plans. The Wiseman reminds us that getting wise takes a long time and a lot of listening. If you're like me, it would be best to give your plans a little more time to grow in the light of the Lord before you start them. James, who wrote the part of the Bible about wisdom, tells us that God will give us wisdom if we seek it and don't doubt. But while we pray for wisdom, let's also pray for the patience to listen to the Lord's truth in the Bible, so that when wisdom comes, we can recognize it!"Man proposes, heaven disposes." Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;
Ephesians 2v19.

THOUGHTS OF THE DAY.
People who have been Christians for a long time sometimes forget that we don't deserve the grace we've been given. When we think we deserve it or that it is ours by right, it is no longer grace, and we no longer live in it. Grace is what makes you a part of God's family. Grace is a simple and beautiful gift from the Holy One, who spoke the universe into existence (in which we are a tiny speck) and who knows how to share and love in ways we can't even imagine.

In good and bad times ,let's us always trust in the Lord ,as He has a perfect plan for our lives. On the one hand, it's naive to think that trusting in God makes all of our problems go away. Christians have many of the same problems as people who don't believe in God because they share the same mortal flesh. On the other hand, it's true. If we have faith in God, we believe that the success or failure of our work is in his hands and that, in the end, we will be a part of his triumphant and glorious presence. It means we won't have lived for nothing. That's not just confidence; it's the foundation of real peace: living life to the fullest and richest, knowing that every moment matters and that we don't need to worry about its results when we put our lives in the hands of the LORD.
