Sometimes God has got to take you right back to the begining in order to see you suceed in the end. Sometimes you to be stripped of your blessings just like Job.. but in the end he got double his portions back.

We go though a time of preparation that we don't understand. We wonder when God will answer our pleas. We begin to doubt, we begin to fear... and lose faith. But God is in control... We many only see a few puzzle pieces come together, but He already sees the whole picture!

Don't despair dear brother and sister. God knows His plan for our life. Keep being faithful no matter how long it takes. God always restores what is broken. He is the great I am.. the Redeemer.. the Conquerer... He is Lord of Lord and King of Kings..

God made a way for Nehemiah who had been praying and fasting for a few months to return to his people. He never gave up... he waited patiently for God to open a door. And God did, not only did the king allow him to return , but even made sure that he was protected.

God will do the same for you and for me. Not only will He answer your prayer.... but He will do in in abundance.....

This is a huge shout out to a wonderful couple who joined us for the yesterday and blessed the kids with party packs and a Gift for Christmas.... May you be blessed... you know who you are... I am so glad that you got a little glimpse of what we are all about...

Hi all I have been silent for a while... It has been difficult working full time and juggling with our youth on a Friday... but it is still going strong... Just when I thought we would have not Christmas party this year... Melissa Collins offered to buy some sweeties for the kids... This is very short notice but we are having the party at the end of November as most of our kids go away to the rural areas...

Unfortuately we have no gifts for the kids this year but anyone wanting to help Melissa with sweets is more than welcome to ... Thank you in advance xx

Sometimes when one is drowning in a situation... you feel your mind racing , thinking about so many things at once that you can't even focus on one thing at a time....

We seem to forget at the time that we only need to focus on one thing... and that is God....

God changes situations, God lifts you out of the miry clay.... We can only see clearly when we foucs on Him.
satan clouds our mind with negativity, he tells us that we will never get out of our situation----God tells us that we are already out of our situation--- He has already made a way for us--- we just need to follow!!!!!

It's amazing that we trust the Lord with such a huge thing as our salvation, even though we do not deserve it and we sin daily and dissappoint Him.....

Yet... we can't trust Him for the little things like providing for our daily needs... our finances, our health...etc.

The Lord is almighy, we have read about all His miracles, and yet we forget that He is bigger than our problems, we try fix our problems ourselves and that last thing we do is resort to prayer when it should be the first thing that we do...

If we could just change our attitudes and call the things that be not just as if they were...if we could just believe that God is a God of goodness and wants the best for us..

When I promise my children a sweet from the shop... they don't doubt me, they are expectant when I get home knowing that I will not dissappoint them...

We should be that way with our Father... if we ask and believe in His promise to us...We will receive.... NO matter how big it may seem to you, or how little it may seem to you... NOTHING IS TOO BIT OR TOO LITTLE FOR MY GOD....

It is such a privilage to have God's word to hold onto.

It's the one thing that has never let me down, will never let me down...

There are times that Christians are faced with a difficult path ahead of them.. they are in the midst of stormy waters, and everytime you are just getting a breath of air, a monsterous wave comes to pull you under again.. and at this point you are gasping for air...

We look around us and there is nobody to rescue us, we feel abandoned and alone, cold and tired of the struggle and sometimes get the feeling of just letting go and giving into our battles and just slowly sink beneath the water in the hope that all our troubles will be over.. or we feel that at least we will not be a burden to anyone anymore...

Financial pressure can make major alterations to your personality, your zest for life , and your desire to work for God.
We think to ourselves " We are attending church, we are doing good deeds so why are we suffering?"

It reminds of a beautiful scripture in Ephesian 4:8 "Wherefore he siath, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men"

In Gen 24:22 Isaac and Rebecca was betrothed and he gave her a ring and gold bracelets... A man gave a woman a gift when they entered into a marriage covenant called a betrothal..

Christ gives us a gift too when we enter into a covenant with Him through our Faith.. because we are His bride.. isn;t that just special??? Isn't that enough to just want you to put all your energy in swimming against the current and search for that floating piece of wood that will save your life?

Paul talks about our walk with Christ.. what many of us don't realize is the walk starts in the state in which Christ finds us in... Many start off well, but they soon tire themselves out becasuse they don't realize that it;s not a sprint but a marathon.... It will take lot's of time to complete and along they way we will get blisters on our feet, we will stray on the wrong path and we will physically want to give up....

But remember that we are betrothed to Jesus.. He is our Bridegroom and he is coming back again to fetch us... Hold onto that gift that He has given you, serve with it as much as possible.... BUT UNDERSTAND ONE THING!!!! GOD DOES NOT CHANGE HIS WORD..... HE IS ON HIS WAY BACK!!

When life gets tough... I have my husband to hold on to... He strenghtens me and motivates me...

In the last few weeks I have been observing people around me and realized that due to bad choices, some people have lost their families and only hold onto friends that are a bad influence in their lives.

My heart goes out to them, because a lot of them have now turned to substance abuse and are stealing to feed their addictions. I do not at all condone that behaviour... BUT... I speak a lot with these people and they are so soft inside.. they just put up this hard exterior to scare people into thinking they are these tough people and we must beware of them...

They do this to protect themselves, and to hide thier own fear... I am thinking of a massive outreach in our area...

I believe that everyone deserves a second chance... Everyone, no matter what you have done needs to hear about Jesus and the abundant life that He can offer you....

We do not understand their behaviour, because we have never been there... we have not made their bad choices ( yes it's their bad choice that led them to where they are.. I understand that) but what about tearing barriers down and building bridges? Isn't that something that is expected from a Christian?

This has been on my heart for a few days already and my heart yearns to see a testimony ... even if it's one person's life changed... it's worth it? Anyone that wants to get involved in offering assistance can contact me on 0718210797.

When we had to close our adult ministry in March... mostly due to finances and total burn out from myself...
My first emotion was I felt I let our congregation down.. I was devistated.. and I wondered if I did something displeasing to God.... I believe that these are natural emotions...

God always has a plan, even when we can't see it. God could see the toll it was taking on me and my family... I found that I did not have much time for His word anymore.. I was kept so busy and was so tired... A good friend told me the other day that I should not see it as a setback but as a re-adjustment...

I couldn't agree more!!!! I feel like a new person, the youth still keep me busy on a Friday, but I feel so much more relaxed.. I have time every moring for a deep bible study which has strengthen me so much..

Sometimes we do not like God's decisions, sometimes we dare to disagree... but there is one thing that we can't argue about... HE IS ALWAYS RIGHT AND WORKS FOR THE GOOD OF US......

I know that God is preparing me for much greater things and this was just a test run for me... I have learned so much, so much valueable experience that I could not have got elsewhere... I had to go through a time of allowing God to mend my cracked vessel so that He can fill it up again...

Don't be discouraged if things do not turn out the way that you expected or hoped for... God knows best.... He will place you where He can use you to the best of your ability...

I am anxiously awaiting this to happen to me... It is not easy to be sitting in the pews and not preaching... but it is necessary for me to be replenished..

Fill me Holy Spirit till my cup overflows.. I am ready and waiting to hear Your call... I am ready and waiting on Your time when You will use me again to glorify Your Mighty Name...
