Morning prayer

O LORD, correct me, but with judgement; not in thine anger, lest thou bring me to nothing. Jeremiah 10:24

Inspiration

God is so great that if His anger were against you … well, you might be turned to nothing. We still need correction though, so the writer of this Psalm prayed that God would correct him, but not in His anger. Thankfully God is also gracious and loving. We should certainly be willing and ready to be corrected by the Lord.

Prayer

Lord, You make sure to keep me growing and maturing in my relationship with You. Thank You for that. Please correct me so I continue to grow in You and do not stray. Have mercy on me when I need correction. Please hold back Your anger. You are too mighty and awe worthy, I could not handle Your anger. Thank You for Your correction and grace. Let me always receive them. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. 1 Corinthians 1:10

INSPIRATION

I firmly believe that Christians must unite as one in these more and more secular times. Science and technology have advanced tremendously over a short period of time, leading many to stop believing in what led us to this point in the first place. The result is a generation of wandering souls, lost without the one and only hero: Jesus Christ. All devotees of Christ must stand together in this battle for earth, because all of mankind's salvation relies on our unity.

PRAYER

I beseech you, Lord God above, to help me walk hand in hand with any other believers that acknowledge you are the one, true God. Lord, help me cast aside any doubts or difficulties that I have with the slightly different customs or beliefs of your followers, for we must face the coming challenges together in order to succeed. I am thankful to have any people on the same side as me, for it instills a renewed faith and sense of purpose to be surrounded by passionate followers. Let us all pray together in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Inspiration
Many people that I know claim that they do not believe in God because there has never been a clear sign from Him that He exists. He has never spoken to them or touched them, so they do not believe. Look around you: is this all not a sign enough? Believers know that we are surrounded by the Holy Spirit and it binds us all together. Without the understanding of the spirit, it is impossible to believe.

Prayer
Holy Spirit, descend upon me now and always. Your love binds me and I am comforted by Your presence. Move into the lives of others that they too may feel what I feel, for I know all non-believers yearn for something to touch them as I have been touched by God. I pray this in the name of Jesus and in the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Inspiration
God is the source of peace. You could be the most stressed out person in the planet, but God can give you incomprehensible peace. Give your worries to the Lord. He raised Jesus from the dead; He can certainly give you great peace. Have faith in the Lord and seek Him, He will give you rest. God will do a great work within you, seek Him.

Prayer
Lord, God of Heaven and Earth, You are the God of peace. Be my refuge from my troubles. Be my shelter in the storm. Be my rock surrounded by sinking sand. Your name is great. You are mighty. You do not cause turmoil within me though, You bring peace. Can I have peace that comes from You? I want to find refuge and rest in You. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Wherefore is there a price in the hand of a fool to get wisdom, seeing he hath no heart to it?(Proverbs 17:16)

Inspiration
Why would a foolish man try to buy wisdom from another man? If he is a fool and not wise, he will not know whether or not the advice is good anyways. If you are afraid you are not being wise or that you are a fool, there is a remedy: reading Proverbs. The book of Proverbs is filled with wisdom. If you have children, read it to them before they go sleep. Teach others and yourself to value wisdom. It is one thing to not be wise but value wisdom and seek it, if that is the case you will eventually become wise. It is much worse to not care for wisdom or even to choose to stay unwise. The Bible also says that we can pray for wisdom, so go ahead and ask God for some wisdom whenever you need it!

Prayer
Lord God, you are the God of wisdom and truth. You know all wisdom and created it. Lord, make me wise. You have set responsibilities before me, and I want to do them well, so give me wisdom on how to complete the task the best I can. You know me. You know the gifts You've given me. I know that You can never have too much wisdom, so make me wise. And always keep me humble because I do not want to be wise and proud. I come to You in Jesus' name. Amen.

Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. ( Isaiah 40:30-31)

Inspiration
In times of trials and tribulations, no matter how young, fit, or strong we may be, there is nothing of our own that will be able to keep us going. The enemy will always strive to wear us down. But if we wait on God, trust in Him completely, He will refresh us and give us the strength we need to carry one.

Prayer
Dear God, there are many things we face in this world on a daily basis. When we try to handle things on our own, we end up discouraged and exhausted. Lord, I ask that you strengthen us when we are weak, and may you sustain us at all times. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.(2 Peter 3:9)
Inspiration
Some tend to mistake God's patience for slackness, and that is a mistake. If God wanted to, He could choose for Christ to return today. The reason why God hasn't called such an order is because He wants as many people who are lost to become saved so that they do not perish in the Lake of fire.

Prayer
Dear God, I pray for all of those who are lost and do not know you. I pray that their eyes will be opened to your goodness, Lord. May they realize that they need a Savior, and may the turn to you, Father. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. ( Matthew 7:13-14)

Inspiration
I remember driving my car recently when there was suddenly a power outage. The traffic signals went dark, and drivers were not sure how to proceed. Instead of thinking and behaving in a way that would be beneficial for everyone, people seemed to drive thinking only about themselves, making it slower and more dangerous for everyone. It is easy to fall prey to evil, much easier than to follow the path to righteousness. If it were easy, the reward would not be so great, but it is difficult, and the reward is eternal life.

Prayer
Holy Lord, God of power and might, your generosity has opened a door for me in which I can gain immortality. This door, albeit small, is the only one that I wish to go through. Give me this day the wisdom and guidance to go through it, delivering me away from evil, temptations, and death. Help me to be one of the few that find it, so that I can also help others along the journey. Amen.

By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. (1 Corinthians 15:2)

Inspiration
As Christians we move by faith and never by sight. Just because we cannot see God with our physical eyes, does not mean that He is not real - Because He is. The Christian walk is a walk of faith. We live contrary to the world that bases all their belief on what they can see, hear, and touch. If we forfeit our faith, and we do not believe in Christ, all our efforts will be in vain.

Prayer
Dear God, I ask that you will help me remain faithful to this cause. Lord, whenever temptation or doubt comes my way, may you give me the strength to turn away from them and focus on you. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, ( Ephesians 3:16-17)

Inspiration
As you walk in your Christian life, you need to ensure that you remain rooted in Christ at all times. The enemy will try to railroad you and tamper with your faith. But as you can see, in this verse, God is able to keep you, through His Spirit, and remind you to focus on Christ at all times.
Prayer
Dear God, I pray that no matter what may come my way. I will remain focused at all times, knowing that your Spirit is keeping me and strengthening me. I thank you, Lord, that I do not have to face this world on my own. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. ( John 14:23)

Inspiration
The clearest sign that we truly love God is when we love one another and when we stick to the guidance that God gives us through His Word. As Christians, we are called to be loving towards our brothers and sisters in Christ, because our bond is what strengthens our faith. We are also called to be obedient to the Word of God

Prayer
Dear God, I ask that in everything I do, may I express the love you have for your children and for the world. Father, I also ask that you help me remain in your path – obedient to your instructions always. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish. ( Isaiah 41:10-12)

Inspiration
In everything you do, every trial that you face, and in every challenge, that comes your way, you need to know that you have no reason to be afraid or worried. God has gone to the ends of the earth to assure you that He has got you covered. He will keep you at rest, He will strengthen you, and He will see you through the tough times. No matter what

Prayer
Dear God, I thank you that I can trust in you completely, never having to worry or fret when troubling times come my way. Help me to remain at peace, O Lord, fully knowing that all will be well because you are with me. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
