“He is not here; He has risen, just as He said.” — Matthew 28:6

He is risen.

Not symbolically.
Not spiritually.
But physically, victoriously, and eternally.

The grave could not hold Him.
Death could not defeat Him.
Sin has no claim over Him.

On Resurrection Sunday, we don’t just celebrate that Jesus came back to life,
we proclaim that He conquered death once and for all.

The cross was not the end.
It was the victory.

Because He lives, we are no longer slaves to sin.
Because He lives, death has lost its sting.
Because He lives, we have true and living hope.

This is the foundation of our faith,
a risen Savior, reigning as King.

He is risen indeed.

“Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!” — John 12:13 🌿

The crowd welcomed Jesus like a king… but many didn’t understand the kind of King He truly was. They wanted rescue from Rome. He came to rescue from sin.

They expected power and overthrow.
He came in humility, riding on a donkey.

This is the beauty of Christ, not the King we would have chosen, but the King we desperately need.

He is not just a Savior for a moment of celebration, but the Lord over every part of our lives.

The question is:
Will we still cry “Hosanna” when He doesn’t meet our expectations?

After 3 weeks of joyfully and earnestly exalting “Christ [as] revealed in all of scripture” before pastors, bible teachers and church officers in Nigeria and Ghana, it is finally time for these “rafikis” to take their return trip to their respective places of primary assignment.

Pastor Barnabas Kuogo Olare has returned to Kenya yesterday (Monday, 30th March, 2026) to continue to serve the Lord Jesus Christ through shepherding the saints at Gospel Missions Agency Church, Mombasa, Kenya. Meanwhile, Pastor Joshua Bolaji (the APC executive director) will, later this week, return to South Africa to continue to do the same at Welkom Baptist Church.

Thank you for lifting them up in your prayers before and during the March 2026 African Pastors Conferences run in South Western Africa. The Lord keep them safe and replenished their strength even on days when they felt spent to the bones.

Kindly continue to pray that the proclamation of the words concerning Christ will bear fruit in the lives of the 1000+ delegates, whom they have trained to see Christ in all of scripture.

May all the glory be the Lord’s,
as He continues to build His Church
in South Western Africa.
