Tranquility, rest and quietness are some of the words used in the different translations of Ecclesiastes 4:6. May September spoil us with peaceful moments to appreciate with gratitude.

Better one handful with tranquillity than two handfuls with toil and chasing after the wind. (Ecclesiastes 4:6)

Prayer is one of the greatest gifts God has given His people. Through prayer we bring our thanksgiving, our needs, our concerns, and our hopes before our Heavenly Father.
We warmly invite everyone to join us for a new weekly prayer meeting, held every Thursday from 12:00 to 13:00 at the UELC Church .
You are welcome to come for the entire hour or simply for as long as your schedule allows. Whether you have five minutes or sixty, your presence in prayer is valuable.
If you prefer to pray quietly on your own, a simple prayer guide will be available to help you focus your prayers. If you would rather pray with someone, there will also be a person available to pray with you.
This is an open invitation to everyone in our congregation and the wider community. Whether you have been praying for many years or are only beginning your journey in prayer, you are most welcome.
Come as you are. Come for as long as you can. Let us seek the Lord together in prayer.

Come and support the young musicians from Hermannsburg school on 21 August. Our own Rolf Rencken, an old scholar, will also treat us to a couple of melodies. Our youth will be selling some treats afterwards, so that means supper is covered😉
