Speaking the truth

On Sunday, 10 August 2025, the District Rector Ernst Kuchenbecker served in Vanderbijlpark

The Bible text used was from Exodus 20:16, "You shall not bear false witness against your neighbour."

The DR explain the text word that we must look out for each other and not speak bad about each other.

The Distrcit Helper Raymond Mdhluli was called to serve.

Message:

Let us be authentic

District Rector Kuchenbecker touched on the following points:

1. Protection of your neighbour.
2. How to apply the commandment.
3. Jesus Christ is the truth.
4. To live in Christ is to live in truth.

What makes this service special was that the DR brother (Ret Priest) Hartmut and his wife Alison Kuchenbecker were relocated to Vanderbijlpark and received their 40th wedding anniversary.

After the service the congregation enjoyed the fellowship.

Children planting and preparing for Thanksgiving

Today, 17 August 2025, the Sunday school children of Vanderbijlpark congregation planted some vegetables in the boxes build by Rector, Priest Hendrik Bester. The Sunday school children will take care of the vegetable plants. The aim is to grow the plants that it can be put at the altar on Thanksgiving and used it in a salad for the congregation's thanksgiving lunch.

The children were so excited to be part of this event to show their thankfulness for plants.
