LUKE 10:2 "Into the harvest" We greet you in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. You made the right choice by accepting Jesus as Lord and saviour.

COMMISSIONED would like to congratulate and welcome you in the family of God. The bible states in the book of John 14:6 “Jesus said, I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me”. By accepting Jesus Christ in your life you now have access to the Father. Continue to believe in him and have a personal fellowship with him through prayer and reading the word (Bibl

e). Then, whatever you ask from God in the name of Jesus will be given to you. In the book of John 15:7 Jesus stated; “if you abide in me and my words abide in you, you will ask what you desire and it shall be done for you. With confidence, we believe that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:6). YOU ARE NOW A NEW CREATION, OLD THINGS HAS PASSED AWAY AND BEHOLD ALL THINGS HAVE BECOME NEW (2 Corinthians 5:17). And all of this happened because God loves you! And now you have eternal life by believing in the name of Jesus (John 3:16). CHRIST! CHRIST! CHRIST! TO WHOM WE BELONG!

Hebrews 10:25

And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.

Fellowship will forever be an integral part in our lives as Christians and human beings. It remains vital for our spiritual growth, comfort, strength, worship, etc. So going to church on Sunday or whenever we can make time has benefits without a doubt.

HOWEVER, we should NEVER assume that going to church or a place of fellowship is all we need to do as Christians. Our mandate is most definitely bigger than us just being church goers or subscribers to a particular organization. After all, we are called not to belong to a particular church or organization but to belong to CHRIST JESUS (1 Corinthians 3:23).

This must be forever edged in our hearts that our identity is in Christ to whom we belong. When we have this in mind, it will become easer for us to know whom we need to serve and please. CHRIST, not the organization! CHRIST, not the pastor! CHRIST, not the cell leader! CHRIST, not the brother or sister! CHRIST! CHRIST! CHRIST!

IF IT IS CHRIST WHO WE BELONG TO, WE MUST SEEK TO SERVE AND PLEASE HIM FIRST.

WE MUST LOVE HIM MORE THAN WE LOVE OUR CHURCH PROGRAMS, OUR WORSHIP TEAMS, OUR CHURCH BUILDINGS, CHURCH RULES, EVEN MORE THAN WE LOVE OUR PASTORS, PROPHETS, MAN OF GOD, BIBLE CLASSES OR ANY OTHER THING THAT WE BECOME SO ATTACHED TO AT CHURCH SUCH THAT WE BECOME INEFFECTIVE IN FULFILLING THE PRIMARY MANDATE GIVEN BY CHRIST......TO GO AND MAKE DISCIPLES!

and you are Christ’s, and Christ is God’s.

Romans 5:8

But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

2 Corinthians 5:14-15

14 For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. 15 And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.

It must be the love of Christ in us that compels us to GO AND DO WHAT CHRIST DEDICATED HIS THOUGHTS, TIME AND ENERGY AND IN THE END (which was a beginning for us) HIS VERY LIFE.

ACTS 1:8

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

We are called to be witnesses of Christ to the whole world. This we cannot do effectively and consistently without the help of the Holy Ghost. Therefore, It is important that as we go to witness, we rely on the guidance of the Holy Ghost to convict those we are send to.

As we conclude 2015, COMMISSIONED would like to thank you for your dedication, support, encouragement and prayers. If it was not for you, we would have not been able to do what we have been able to do this year. Through you, we have been able to go deeper into communities to share Christ. Through you we have been able to launch new programs to help and support the needy communities. Through you we have been able to fulfill The Great Commission as mandated by the Lord Jesus Christ.

We pray that the Lord will grant you new strength as we are ushered into a new year to better your livelihood. And most of all, may the desire to take the gospel of salvation to nations burn even more in the new year.

ISAIAH 9:6

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

As we celebrate today, let us celebrate the fulfillment of this prophecy by Prophet Isaiah. Let us remember that Christ came and died for all, that they which live should not live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

Many of us want to go to other African countries to do missionary work. Look first in your own backyard, there are many people who need your help everyday.

Many of us wait for the day we are rich to help the needy. Most of those with this mentality, wait until they die.

Many of us prefer to turn a blind to real social challenges in our community. Only if we knew or remembered what Matthews 25:35-40 says...
