On the 31st of August 2021, Bishop Ndwadwe conducted his last service as the Bishop of the Diocese of Mthatha. The service was blessed with the presence of the Chapter Members, the Clergy, MADC, M.U President and few members of the Structures.

During the service the Dean of the Diocese was placed as the Vicar General of the Diocese.
