πŸ•ŠοΈ ANNOUNCEMENT OF PASSING πŸ•ŠοΈ

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Evangelist Ntobongwana.

We thank God for her life, her service, her dedication, and the love she poured into the church and the community. She has fought a good fight and finished her race. May her soul rest in eternal peace.

We humbly ask the church and community at large to keep the family in prayer during this difficult time.

All funeral details are provided on the poster below.

β€œPrecious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.” – Psalm 116:15

πŸ“– Message from the President of Zion Church of God – President Samela

We are reminded by the Word of God in:
πŸ•Š Iindumiso 132:13 – β€œFor the Lord has chosen Zion; He has desired it for His dwelling place.”
πŸ•Š Kwabase-Efese 2:19 – β€œNow therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God.”
πŸ•Š Isaya 16:28 – [Here you might mean Isaiah 28:16] – β€œBehold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.”

President Samela reminds the church that Zion is chosen by God, and we are no longer strangers but part of His great household. Christ Himself is the solid foundation on which we stand. Let us continue to build our faith, our unity, and our love upon this sure foundation β€” Zion, the dwelling place of God.

How about the 2026 Church Calendar?

A special calendar that does more than just mark the days β€” it tells the history of our church. Each month can feature one of our great spiritual leaders who played a vital role in building and guiding the Zion Church of God.

We can include the stories and photos of our respected fathers such as ooBawo Mongameli Kakaza (the first President), ooBawo Saziwa, ooBawo Khuphiso, ooBawo Mdilikwana, ooBawo Madikane, ooBawo Majova, and many others who dedicated their lives to the work of God.

This calendar will not only remind us of important church dates but also help the younger generation learn about our roots, our faith, and the great men who helped shape the church into what it is today.

Let us know what do you think on the comment section. Have blessed day.

πŸ“– Message from the President of Zion Church of God πŸ™Œ

Our President sharing a powerful message about the baptism of our Lord Jesus Christ. He reminded us that Jesus Himself was baptized β€” setting an example for every child of God to follow. πŸ’§

He encouraged us to confess all our sins in the river and be baptized, just as Jesus did, for it is through baptism that we are renewed, cleansed, and made right before God. πŸŒŠπŸ™

Let us walk in obedience and humility, following the footsteps of Christ β€” for baptism is not just a ritual, but a declaration that we belong to Him. ✝️

✝️ Zion Church of God says: ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! ✝️

Violence against women has no place in our homes, our communities, or our hearts.
Let us stand together in prayer and action β€” to protect, uplift, and honour the women God has placed in our lives.

β€œWhoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.” – 1 John 4:8 πŸ’œ
