Enhlanzeni Region held a powerful and impactful youth camp the past weekend, under the leadership of Mr. Mulonze (Regional Youth Director).
Lives were transformed under the theme “The time is now” Roman’s 13:11.
By Gods’ grace a plenary of speakers spoke the heart of God for this generation and amongst them, we were blessed to have Pastor Khumalo, who’s our SADC Youth Director. Drawing from the theme verse and 1st Samuel 1:9 he emphasised and charged youth to be present in the sanctuary (a place where you meet God).
“The Lord is waiting for us in a place of sanctuary where we go and pour our hearts and in return He will give us Himself”. He alluded that some of hurdles we encounter are a way God is drawing into the sanctuary. Exemplary, Hannah had no children because God caused her to not so she can go to the sanctuary and pour her heart to the Lord, in return God gave her His plan for Israel (Samuel).
Furthermore, South Africa East Youth Director, Pastor S.A Qokonyeka poured Gods’ heart drawing from the theme verse and Psalms 24:1-6. He charged the youth to live purposeful and meaningful life beneficiary to the kingdom of God. Emphasising that EVERYTHING we have been given (Gifts, talents, intellect etc) are for kingdom advancement. He encouraged the Youth to take spaces in serving the Lord even on the OFF-STAGE MINISTRIES. He said, that there is traffic in the ON-STAGE MINISTRIES and yet some young people are solely anointed and deployed to advance the Kingdom other ministries except Pulpit ministries, ministries such as Orphanage homes, Helping the Poor, and other Christian based community building systems etc. Emphasizing the good posture of everyone's heart as born-again believer, that we all have to get our appetites and ambitions checked, stressing more on Verse 3 of Psalms 24.
Final challenge we were blessed with Regional Bishop M.H Mavuso.
He opened with remarks drawing from the theme verse that, numerous things have caught our attention (school, work, home chores) but none are the business of God. This is a scheme of the enemy to derail us from living purposefully. This is the way he cuts destinies.
He then charged the youth to live a holy life, drawing from 1st Peter 1:15-16. He alluded we are created in Gods’ image because He wants to share His glory and beauty through us.
We appreciate leadership of Ehlanzeni Region for organising us to meet together🤍. Much appreciation to our family from eSwatini 🇸🇿 who visited us🫶🏾🤍
