Christians !! Do you ever wonder why you don't grow spiritually , why you don't have Victory over issues and Habits in your life , why you live with hurt and in unforgiveness and lack of Unity ?? PRAYER !! is a GOD given weapon......... Is Prayer important to you ? If Prayer is important to you , how often do you Pray ?. Far too many Christians don't Pray continually . 1 Thessalonians 5 : 17 - "Be unceasing in Prayer". 1 Timothy 2 : 8 - "So I want men EVERYWHERE to Pray with Holy hands lifted up to GOD , free from sin and anger and resentment". Why do I preach on Prayer ? Simply because it is the most neglected discipline in so many lives . I truly believe that GOD is calling His bride back to Prayer . Not just any old Prayer but the James 5 : 16b Prayer . James 5 : 16b - "The earnest Prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available". Prayer reveals our dependence on GOD . Lack of Prayer reveals our lack of trust in GOD's ability to answer our Prayers . That's why men of GOD are men of Prayer . Colossians 4 : 2 - "Devote yourselves to Prayer , being watchful and Thankful". Prayer begins with a heart and mind that have been softened and planted with the Word of GOD . The condition of our hearts determines our growth and our fruitfulness . Jeremiah 4 : 3 - "The Lord is saying to the men of Judah and Jerusalem , Plow up the hardness of your hearts ; otherwise the good seed will be wasted among the thorns". A prepared heart is a powerful Praying life . Psalm 69 : 13 - "But for me , my Prayer is to You , O Lord . At an acceptable and opportune time , O GOD , in the multitude of Your Mercy and the abundance of Your loving-kindness hear me , and in the truth and faithfulness of Your salvation answer me" , It is Always the right time to Pray . If you do not feel like Praying , it is a sure indication that you should start Praying Immediately . Luke 18 : 1 - "One day Jesus told His disciples a story to illustrate their need for Constant Prayer and to shoe them that they Must keep Praying until the answer comes". Isaiah 65 : 24 - "I will answer them before they even call to me . While they are still talking to me about their needs , I will go ahead and answer their Prayers". GOD Always answers Prayer . Colossians 4 : 2 - "Be earnest and unwearied and steadfast in your Prayer , being alert and intent with thanksgiving". It is Prayer that both releases the rain and allows us to receive the rain of GOD !!.

In the WAR of RIGHT and WRONG , we can't afford to be neutral . 1 Timothy 6 : 12 - "Fight the Good Fight Of Faith". Paul reminds us 2 Corinthians 10 : 4 - "For the Weapons of our Warfare are NOT physical , but they are mighty before GOD for the overthrow and destruction of strongholds". *These are the NO GO weapons . Paul says we don't fight with ANGER , BITTERNESS , BAD ATTITUDES , NEGATIVE DESTRUCTIVE WORDS , ARGUMENTS , CURSES , SLANDER , FOUL MOUTHED ABUSE , SHAMEFUL UTTERANCES FROM YOUR LIPS . Please Read Colossians 3 : 8 . Failure is NOT an Option !!. It will take Obedience and Discipline to wage WAR effectively !. Whatever the Battleground , remember it is the Lord of Armies whom you follow..... He fights for You !. But are You wearing the full Armor of GOD !! ??

ARE YOU FOLLOWING JESUS OR FOLLOWING RULES !! You don't grow and mature by following religious rules - you learn by following in Obedience to what is WRITTEN !! . The TRUE WORD. You know how easy it is to know a few verses and follow a few rules and MISS the full Truth . Paul warned the Churches in Galatia living what is Not in line with the Truth . Galatians 4:8-10 "8) Formerly , when you did not know GOD , you were slaves to those who by nature are Not God's . 9) But now that you know GOD - how is it that you are turning back to those weak and miserable forces ? Do you wish to be enslaved by them all over again ?. 10) You are observing special days and months and seasons and years !!". There's a vast difference between fans ( enthusiastic admirers ) of Jesus and followers of Jesus........ . If you asked many people , are they a fan or a follower of Jesus..... they would confidently respond , "FOLLOWER" ! . If your spiritual nourishment only comes from attending spiritual courses , listening to sermons and reading daily devotionals ( while these are all excellent for you ) it is all mere milk from someone else . You need to be studying and meditating on the word of GOD yourself !. Read books , but study the Bible , everything else is second hand . So many Christians are willing to follow Jesus on their own terms and conditions . 1 Timothy 4:16 - "Watch your life and doctrine closely . Persevere in them , because if you do , you will save both yourself and your hearers" . In John 8 we see people keen to be followers of Jesus . John 8:30 - 32 = 30) "Even as He spoke , many believed in Him . 31) To the Jews who believed Him , Jesus said , If you hold to my teaching , you are truly my disciples . 32) Then you will know the truth , and the truth will set you free". Jesus talks to them about discipleship . Look with me at how this teaching of following Jesus according to His word and requirements ends . John 8:59 - "At this , they picked up stones to stone Him , but Jesus hid himself , slipping away from the temple grounds". John says about those that start but don't follow . 1 John 2:19 - "They went out from us , but they did Not really belong to us . For if they had belonged to us , they would have remained with us ; but their going showed that none of them belonged to us". Conclusion = A TRUE DISCIPLE OF JESUS IS A DIFFERENCE MAKER , THEY DISCIPLINE THEMSELVES TO GROW AS A DISCIPLE............ SO THAT... THEY CAN MAKE DISCIPLES BY STUDYING THE TRUE WORD OF GOD !.

PART ( 1 ). A MUST READ FOR RELIGIOUS LEADERS AND THE SAINTS THAT ARE ENTRUSTED TO THEIR CARE . Question : Are You following Jesus or following Rules ?. Their is a Real Danger of forming Your own Opinion and interpratations about the Word of GOD and and the Journey You're on with Jesus , and in Reality You can be missing the Mark !. You Don't grow and mature by following Rules - You learn by following in Obedience to what is WRITTEN !!. It is easy to know a few Bible verses and follow a few rules and miss the Full Truth . Apostle Paul warned the Churches in Galatia living what is NOT in line with the Truth : Galatians 4 : 8 - 10 KJV - "Howbeit then , when you knew not God , you did service unto them which by nature are not gods . (9) But now , after that you have known God , or rather are known of God , how turn you again to the weak and beggarly elements , whereunto you desire again bo***ge ?. (10) You observe days , and months , and times , and years" . Instead of following Jesus , His commands and His teachings , His principles , His example........ They follow religious rules and rituals . Many Christians think the Bible is a book of opinions . So they just make up their own opinion about what they believe is right . But mostly made up by FALSE information Preached by the False prophets of today !. If your spiritual nourishment only comes from attending spiritual courses , listening to sermons and reading daily devotionals ( while these are all excellent for you ) it is all mere sour milk from someone else . You need to be Studying and Meditating on the Word of God Yourself !. Read books but Study the Bible !!. Only then will you identify the False Prophets of today and know the Truth , it's the Truth that sets You Free !!. it's no wonder that the Word says "My People Perish Due To Lack Of Knowledge". PART ( 2 ) to follow . DON'T MISS IT !!.

"Being GOD's man and taking ownership of your Spiritual journey" I have learned that when stepping out in Faith it will always have an element of RISK , if there was no RISK it wouldn't be called FAITH . When Last did You RISK anything for GOD ?. Being a man of GOD is a choice !. It won't happen by CHANCE but by CHOICE !. 1 Timothy 6 : 12 KJV - "Fight the good fight of FAITH , lay hold on Eternal Life whereunto you are also Called , and have professed a good profession before many witnesses". You can't fight if you're not in the ring .You can't make a confession until you've been CALLED and made Jesus Lord of you life . You have to be a SPIRITUAL Man to take a Spiritual Journey . The RISK of not fighting the good fight is losing Eternal Life by lack of FAITH . Every man has THREE IDENTITIES to deal with : A . The man he wants others to think he is . B . The man he thinks he is . C . The man he Really is . Some men keep up with the Joneses by wearing last year's suits and driving this years car on next year';s salary . A real man is someone who presses in to CONFORM to the "Image of Jesus" . John 3 : 30 KJV - He must increase , but I must decrease". Giving your best to GOD and Risking something for Him is never a waste . Don't allow the world to criticize your Godly standpoint . Most critics have Never run a race or played a game or sung a song . So don't let some critic keep you from giving your best and Risking something for GOD !.

Christians !!! There is No reasoning about Reasonable service !. Our Aim should be SERVICE and Not success . Success will come when we Serve . Amazing how many people want all the successes and prosperity and blessings but Don't want to Serve . The day you became a Christian you became a citizen of a New Kingdom ( You Changed Employers !! ) . One thing you need to clearly understand is that you have GIVEN UP YOUR WILL to SERVE HIS WILL . There can no longer be any reasoning about your reasonable service .What is reasonable service ? . ( Romans 12:1 ) KJV - "I beseech you therefore , Brethren , by the mercies of God , that you present your bodies a Living Sacrifice , Holy , acceptable unto God , which is your reasonable service". Serving God and worshiping Him starts with your Spirit . ( John 4:24 ) KJV - "God is a Spirit : and they who worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in truth . God has not called us to an UN-REASONABLE service . Jesus showed the reasonable way . ( Romans 12:1 ) KJV - Are you giving God your reasonable service ? . Think About It !!

CHRISTIANS WHAT DO YOU EXPECT !!. We cannot dream ourselves into what we could be or should be !. What do you expect when you rise up every day - or must life just happen , take it as it comes . We should be the kind of Jesus people that others migrate towards us because of the EXPECTANT lives we live. Our expectant lives will be seen by our Courage , our Excitement , our Enthusiasm , our Optimism , our Passion and Commitment . Apostle Paul's attitude encouraging us to have the same attitude in Philippians 1 : 20 (KJV ) - "According to my earnest EXPECTATIOIN and my hope , that in Nothing I shall be ashamed , but that with all boldness , as always , so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body , whether it be by life , or by death" . WOW ! Whatever the Lord wants is what the Apostle wants . This is Total consecration . People are like a Nail , they can only go as far as their heads allow them . WE GET STUCK AT THE LEVEL OF OUR EXPECTATION !. You're getting what you expecting right now . Don't start your day believing things are going to be bad and miserable . Rather tell yourself things are going to go right , not wrong . And that you're going to begin the day with Optimism , Hope and Expectation!. Hebrews 6 : 19 ( KJV ) - Which Hope we have as an anchor of the soul , both sure and steadfast , and which enters into that within the veil . Makes You Think Doesn't It !?.

This is Not a "Feel Good" message , but rather a "Positioning" message . I Don't generalize here , but Never has there been a time such as this that well-meaning Christians who profess to Love God and I believe they really do , are unknowingly been led by Preachers and False Prophets into a New Age Ministry that rather serves man than the true Jesus Christ and Him crucified . My fellow Brothers and Sisters believe NOT every word but examine all things and keep that what is good and distance yourself from untruth . WARNING !! Beware you Preaches and False Prophets lest any one of you spoil God's Children through Philosophy and vain Deceit , after the tradition of Men , after the rudiments of the world , and Not after Christ !. Your reward awaits you no doubt !. Hell is your destiny and very soon it shall come to pass !.

Come On Listen And Read If You Will . "DO WHATEVER BRINGS YOU BACK TO YOUR HEART AND THE HEART OF GOD" !. Against the Flesh , the Traitor within , a Warrior uses Discipline . We have a two dimensional version of this now , which we call "QUITE TIME" . But most people have a hard time persevering with any sort of devotional life because it has No important connection to recovering and protecting their strength . Time with GOD each day is Not about study at a Bible College or getting through a certain amount of Scripture or any of that . It's about connecting with GOD . We've got to keep those lines of communication open , so use whatever helps . Sometimes I'll listen to music ; other times I'll read Scripture or a passage from a good book ; very often I will sing praises to GOD , and i just Love Singing ; then there are days when all I need is silence and solitude and the rising Sun . The point is simply to do whatever brings me back to my heart and the heart of GOD . The discipline , by the way , is never the point . The whole point of a "Devotional Life" is connecting with GOD ! . This is our first and Most important medication to the COUNTERFEITS or FALSE PROPHETS the world has out to us today . John 7 : 17 - 18 . Have you ever Listened to Religious Speakers and wondered if they were telling the Truth ??? Test them ; (1) Their words should agree with , and Not contradict the Bible . (2) Their words should point to GOD and His will , Not to themselves . Bless you as you find your heart and most important the Heart of GOD !.

Hosea 4 : 6. (KJV ) - "My People Perish From Lack Of Knowledge" Its one thing to know your Bible , but its an other thing to KNOW the GOD of the Bible . "The scripture is our inexhaustible textbook , the Lord Jesus our boundless subject and the Holy Spirit our divine infinite helper . When Jesus , had gone 40 days in the desert fasting and praying , Jesus was hungry and at a weak point . The devil , the tempter came to Jesus . The question I put to you dear friends is this , When does the devil tempt you the most ? Its at your weakest moment , its at your weakest point . How did Jesus respond ? He brought GOD into it . He quoted the Bible , GOD's Word . Each time the devil tried to trap Jesus , Jesus would respond , "IT IS WRITTEN" . So many people are also robbed of blessings that the Bible tells us are ours in Christ Jesus . But because we Don't know the True Word of GOD , we never truly live in them . Today we are robbed of blessings by the many False Prophets and Preachers . Why ? because we cannot say "IT IS WRITTEN" . We just Don't know where it is written !!.
