What Street Store Means To Them ❤️

Street Store 2026 reminded us that clothing is about more than fabric, it’s about dignity, choice, and community.

We spoke to some of the shoppers about what the experience meant to them, as this unique pop-up store gives people the freedom to choose clothes they love, free of charge. 👕

The Street Store is run by Grace Aid SA and is a volunteer-driven pop-up clothing store that allows people in need to “shop” for donated clothes, restoring dignity through choice rather than charity.

The future is only as strong as the next generation. 🇿🇦

Bafana Bafana may not have gotten the result South Africa hoped for, but great teams are built through perseverance, not just victories.

Today in Grace in Motion, and as we approach Youth Day, we’re reminded that young people are not just the leaders of tomorrow, they’re already shaping today.

Throughout Scripture, God used young people to make a lasting impact, and we believe the same is true today. Let’s continue to pray for, encourage, and invest in our children, teenagers, and young adults.

What we sow into the next generation today will help shape the Church of tomorrow. The faith of the next generation matters, and by God’s grace, the best is yet to come.

Street Store 2026 👕

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, the dedication of more than 100 volunteers, and every person who donated clothing, shoes, and resources, we were able to serve a record-breaking 1,128 people this year.

The Street Store is all about restoring dignity by creating a space where people experiencing homelessness can shop for what they need, free of charge. Seeing so many lives impacted reminds us of what can happen when a community comes together with compassion and purpose.

To every volunteer, donor, and supporter — thank you for making this possible. ❤️

1128 people were served at Street Store today ❤️

This is a glimpse into the incredible day, and we are so grateful for the amazing volunteers who helped make this day as good as it was. We thank God for this opportunity to serve our community 🙌🏽

Street Store in Durban is an annual, free pop-up clothing initiative run by Grace Aid (the NPO arm of Grace Family Church) in partnership with the Denis Hurley Centre to restore dignity to people experiencing homelessness.
