The Power of Surrender.
Part 1:"When God wrestles you."

Genesis 32:22-32
• What you control may not be able to fully transform.
• You cannot manufacture what only God can release.
(The things that only God can do for you, nobody else can do)
• If we refuse change, our refusal is an invitation to the Devil to come into our lives.
Then God uses all things to work together for our good.
• One touch from God can change your appearance/life.
• When you come from a wrestling match with God you have honour for people, respect for people.
(You are not the same person)
• Show people Grace in the same way you are expecting Grace.
• You cannot depend on yourself and fully depend on God.
(It has to be one or the other.)
• You cannot surrender what you refuse to acknowledge.
• We need to learn to trust in the Lord.
• Just surrender.

Forgiveness is not about excusing someone else’s behavior or waiting for an apology you might never receive—it is about choosing to unburden your own heart. When you hold onto bitterness, you carry a weight that was never yours to bear.
In a church context, forgiveness reflects the ultimate grace that has already been extended to us. By letting go of resentment, you step out of the shadow of past hurts and walk into peace, spiritual freedom, and emotional healing. You don't forgive to change the past; you forgive to free your future.
