MEDIA STATEMENT

It is with great sadness to announce the tragic incident that happened in the morning of the 10/09/2025 .

The pastor (Ps. N.C Shivambu ) received an alarming call to inform him of the tragetic event of the church burning. To his arrival he witnessed the remains of the burnt building he served under for 16years.

The total cost of the damaged is estimated to around R650 000 which includes all the materials and assets the church used to run its services which includes musical instruments, furniture and electronic appliances.

The pastor and the Eden Baptist family would humbly ask for assistance of any kind to survive this ordeal.

By the grace of God, the church conference was a resounding success, with all aspects unfolding according to His divine plan. We give thanks to the Lord for His guidance and provision throughout the event. Every detail was meticulously executed, and the conference was filled with spiritual nourishment and meaningful fellowship. We praise God for His faithfulness and blessing upon our gathering.
