Jesus watched the people of His day pushing themselves forward. “So He told a parable to those who were invited, when He noted how they chose the best places” (Luke 14:7-11).

The “Jesus way” is to walk in love and humility. Paul advises us in 1 Corinthians 13:4, “Love ... is not puffed up.” We said that you cannot be both proud and humble at the same time. Likewise you cannot be loving and proud at the same time. Being puffed up (with pride), means that you will behave rudely, you will insist on your own way in everything and you will be easily provoked. As a child of God we walk in submission to God our Father, Jesus Christ His Son and the Holy Spirit. If you do not have love you have nothing. Humility is a virtue of a man of God.

Heavenly Father, You have shown me in so many ways how much You love me. Help me to love people with Your love. Help me to be a person who prizes the virtue of humility. Amen.

“If your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. And if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day returns to you, saying, ‘I repent,’ you shall forgive him” (Luke 17: 3-4).

On hearing this the disciples realised that it was beyond them to do it in their own strength. They said, “Increase our faith” (v. 5). When I choose to forgive it means that I hand the result over to God. When someone wrongs me and I forgive them I no longer have control over what will happen next. This is one of the reasons that it is often so difficult to forgive. We feel that we are losing control when we do. As long as we hold onto the offence we feel we have some control of the person or situation. This is not true; all that happens is that the results of not forgiving begin to control us.

Father, I bow in Your presence as Your humble servant today. I recognise that I do not have any rights when it comes to forgiveness. Give me faith to trust You with my hurt and disappointment. Amen.

We carry God's annointing when our hearts humbled in complete surrender to Him. The status of our heart in obedience to God matters most than our title and status in life.
📖 Psalm 23:5 - "You prepare a table before
me in the presence of my enemies; You
anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over"
THIS signifies God’s abundant provision, protection, and honor bestowed upon the believer, even amidst challenges. It represents God as a host providing security, intimacy, and blessing.

📖 Isaiah 61:1- The Spirit of the Lord GOD is
upon me, because the LORD has anointed me
to bring good news to the poor; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound;

Not every tree that stands is truly alive.
Some trees look strong on the outside, yet bear no fruit within. 🌳🔥
In Matthew 7:19, Jesus reminds us with a serious warning:
“Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.”
This is more than a message about a tree.
It is a message about our lives.
God is not only looking at how long we have been in church, how loud we worship, or how good we appear before people.
He is looking for fruit: ✨ love in the way we treat others
✨ faithfulness in hard times
✨ kindness when no one sees
✨ obedience even when it is difficult
✨ holiness in private and in public
A tree without fruit only takes up space.
In the same way, a life without spiritual growth can become empty, dry, and far from God.
This verse is not meant to condemn, but to awaken us.
The Lord desires that we become deeply rooted in Him so our lives will overflow with good fruit.
When Christ is at the center, our branches will show evidence of His presence.
So today, ask yourself:
What kind of fruit is my life producing?
Is it bitterness or grace?
Pride or humility?
Anger or love?
Fear or faith?
May we never settle for just looking alive.
May our lives truly bear fruit that honors God. 🙏🔥

Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful. Psalm 1:1
We live in a world that generally, does not follow the ways of God. The Psalmist clearly recognises the fact that, ungodly counsel will always oppose the truth of God’s word. What may seem right to the world, is not right or acceptable in God’s sight. Who or what are we listening to today? Let's protect our minds from ungodly counsel by choosing to fill it with God's Word. Let's saturate our hearts and minds with the word of God. Delight in meditating on it day and night. Oh, it is nourishment to our soul.
In this is blessedness, peace, joy and satisfaction.
Start today, read the Bible, meditate on it. You will be blessed and fruitful.

Romans 12:2
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.
We are influenced by the people around us and the media. They teach us to put self first, take what we want, and love ourselves.
The scripture teaches us to deny ourselves and follow Jesus (Luke 9:23).
We need to renew our minds by replacing the lies of the world and worldly ideologies with Scripture, allowing the Holy Spirit to change our perspective and our behaviour.
We often ask ourselves, “How could the early disciples turn the world upside down?”
The answer is simple: They didn’t conform their faith to match the world. They had the truth, and they refused to water it down. They held a faith that they would not compromise.
Lord, thank You for loving me enough not to leave me as I am. Please forgive me for the times I have allowed the world to shape my thinking. Today, I surrender my mind to You. Renew my thoughts through Your Word so that I may walk in Your good, pleasing, and perfect will. Transform me from the inside out. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Isaiah 40:29, 31 📖

He gives power to the weak,
And to those who have no might He increases strength.
But those who wait on the LORD
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.

God Promises To Strengthen You 💪

Do you believe that God can infuse you with strength of mind, body, and spirit, even when you’ve carried a burden for miles? Today’s scripture instructs the weary to wait on the Lord. Waiting on Him means to sit still in His presence through prayer, Bible study, and worship. It means to seek Him with all your heart by seeking His wisdom and focusing your thoughts on Him. As you wait, the Holy Spirit goes to work renewing your strength. As a result, you will grow stronger in faith, perseverance, and courage. God will make you like an eagle, which soars high above its enemies with great strength. You are more than a conqueror! Dear one, let your suffering work for you an opportunity to experience the living God. He wants to do something magnificent in your heart and life today! 🙌

Psalm 127 reminds us that nothing we build in life truly stands without God at the center.

We can work hard, plan carefully, and stay up late trying to make things happen—but if God isn’t the one building it, it won’t last. It’s a reminder that our strength has limits, but His purpose doesn’t.

It also speaks about how children are a gift, not a burden, and how true security isn’t found in striving, but in trusting.

Today I’m reminded: peace comes from letting God be the builder, not trying to carry everything on my own.

“Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain.” (Psalm 127:1)

1 Peter 5:8 📖

“Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.”

This verse is a reminder that not everything we face is just physical, there is a spiritual battle too.

The enemy doesn’t always come in obvious ways.
Sometimes it’s in your thoughts,
discouragement, fear, doubt, temptation, lies that try to pull you away from God.

That’s why we’re called to be alert and sober-minded, aware, grounded, and rooted in truth.

But here’s the key,
we don’t live in fear.

Because while the enemy prowls like a lion,
Jesus is the Lion of Judah, stronger, greater, and already victorious.

So stay close to God.
Guard your mind.
Fill your heart with His Word.

And when the enemy tries to whisper lies,
stand firm in truth.

You are not powerless.
You are covered.
You are protected in Christ. 🤍

“If You Think God Can’t Forgive You… Read This” 😔💔

God’s Grace Is Bigger Than Your Guilt ✝️

Be honest…
You’ve been thinking:
👉 “After what I did… God can’t forgive me.”

That guilt… that regret… it’s been heavy. 💭

But this verse changes everything:

You are justified freely by His grace.

Not because you earned it.
Not because you deserve it.
But because Jesus already paid for it. ✝️

Let this hit you:

No sin is too big for His mercy
No past is too broken for His grace
Nothing can cancel His love

So why are you still carrying
what Jesus already paid for?

You’re not disqualified.
You’re still chosen. 🙏

Come back… God is still waiting. 🕊️
