Sunday Service
Ministering: Brother Kgopotso
Topic: EMPOWERED FOR EXPANSION

Genesis 1:28 reveals that God's original intention for mankind was expansion. Before Adam was instructed to be fruitful and multiply, God first blessed him. This teaches us that divine expansion is the result of divine empowerment.

Ability is the potential to do something and answers the question, "Can I do it?"

Training develops competence and answers the question, "Do I know how to do it?"

However, empowerment is greater than both. Empowerment is the release of divine power, authority, grace, capacity, and resources to accomplish a God-given assignment. It answers the question, "Am I enabled and authorized to do it?"

This is why Zechariah 4:6 declares:
"Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit," says the Lord of Hosts.

As believers, we must never become more intellectual than we are spiritual. Ability and knowledge are valuable, but they cannot replace the empowerment of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus trained His disciples, yet He still commanded them in Luke 24:49 to remain in Jerusalem until they were endued with power from on high. This shows us that training without empowerment is incomplete.

Then, in Acts 1:8, Jesus revealed the source of true empowerment:
"But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you..."

The most important reality in a believer's life is the presence of the Holy Spirit. He is the source of spiritual power, divine capacity, wisdom, authority, grace, and fruitfulness.

Therefore, true expansion is not merely the result of hard work, intelligence, or natural ability. It is the product of a life empowered by the Spirit of God.

Day 1 Youth Conference
Ministering: Bishop MK Ramahala
Theme: Power to expand
Scripture Reference: Psalm 18:29–40

Bishop MK Ramahala taught that true expansion requires God's power. Growth that is not founded on spiritual strength will eventually collapse. He emphasized that life is territorial and that every young person should identify an area of influence where they can excel and make a meaningful impact.

Expansion often involves challenges and spiritual battles. To advance into new territories, one must be prepared, courageous, and empowered by God. The bishop highlighted that the power to expand is developed in the secret place through prayer and a relationship with God before it becomes visible publicly.

He encouraged the youth to remain hungry for growth, as one's desire and pursuit determine the pace of progress in life. Difficult seasons such as disappointment, lack, failure, and obstacles are inevitable, but they should never cause believers to underestimate the power that God has placed within them. With Christ in us, there is always the capacity for expansion.

The message also stressed the importance of consistency. Believers should not dominate only during favourable seasons but should maintain spiritual strength and influence at all times. Expansion requires focus, discipline, courage, preparedness, and a willingness to pay the necessary price for growth. Certain attitudes must be conquered in order to become great leaders and impactful individuals.

SUNDAY SERVICE
Ministering: Mr. Makhubele B
Topic: Seeking God

Scriptures:
Luke 19:1–10
Deuteronomy 4:29
1 Peter 1:16
Joel 2:12
Revelation 3:20

Seeking God means intentionally and wholeheartedly pursuing Him. It is understanding that we need Him more than anything else in our lives.

Key Lessons:
When we stop seeking God, things begin to fall apart.
God promises that when we seek Him with all our hearts, we will find Him.
Seeking God requires commitment, prayer, and fasting.
Prayer strengthens our relationship with God and aligns us with His will.
Fasting teaches self-discipline and helps us focus on God above our physical desires.
If we cannot manage our appetites and desires, they can begin to control our lives.

"But if from there you seek the Lord your God, you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul." — Deuteronomy 4:29
