NOMINATION PROCESS FOR THE NEXT ARCHBISHOP OF CANTERBURY - PUBLIC CONSULTATION

As part of the nomination process for the next Archbishop of Canterbury, a public consultation is running, inviting input from around the Anglican Communion. The consultation runs until March 28.

The consultation is an opportunity to gather the views of a wide range of people from across the Anglican Communion on the gifts, qualities and skills needed in the 106th Archbishop of Canterbury.

The consultation process is run by the Crown Nominations Commission (CNC) who discern who God may be calling to this ministry. The CNC has representatives from the Church of England and Anglican Communion.

The CNC will use the themes that emerge through this process to inform the Commission on the needs of the mission of the Church of England and the wider Anglican Communion.

Wherever you are based in the Anglican Communion, your views matter. Your feedback will play a vital role in shaping the decision-making process as the CNC seeks God’s guidance for the next Archbishop of Canterbury.
