2023 THE YEAR OF THE BEST WINE

John 2: 1-11

The wedding was boring ,nothing was happening, they had run out of wine.

Wine represents joy and celebration, it depicts the blessing of the Lord in our lives. God wants to see growth in our lives. He does not want to see us stuck in one place.

The wedding here is symbolic of how the world does things.
The system of this world wants to have the best at the begining and the rest at the end but God wants to take you from one level to the next.

You will enjoy 2023! You will get the best. When you walk with God you will not get stuck you will continually move from glory to glory.

While we declare God's promises for 2023 ,some are already preparing curses for your life but I'm prophesying the best for 2023. There are monitoring spirits monitoring your life, may they see nothing but success in your life.

Deuteronomy 28:12-13

"12The LORD will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none.13The LORD will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the LORD your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom."

God will make us leaders when we do what he commands, we will be on the top,things will happen in our lives.

There are Christians who will remain on one level and they cannot access the best because they don't listen to God's instructions. God's word brings peace in our lives even before we receive breakthroughs. Do what he commands and you will get the best wine. We do not start enjoying life with material things, we start enjoying by obeying his word. If God raises you,no one will pull you down.

You cannot receive the best while living an unclean life( 1 Peter 1: 14-16).

I declare that doors will be open for your life,you will receive the best in 2023,the best over your marriage, the best in your finances, the best in your career, the best in your children,the best in your ministry and calling. 2023,THE YEAR OF THE BEST WINE!

THANKSGIVING SERVICE 04 DECEMBER 2022

Luke 17:11-19

Jesus was on his way to Jerusalem, on a mission,minding his own business. 10 lepers met him on his way and cried out for help . He gave an instruction and as they they obeyed and walked in faith,they were healed.

We have many who are like those 10 lepers today, with many areas in their lives that are leprous ,they have been cast out and counted out of society. And like the 10 lepers,they are crying out to God to have mercy on them and they could do anything to see a change in their situation. Yet when God finally delivers them and answers their prayers they are nowhere to be seen. The Bible says only 1 of the 10 lepers came back and thanked the Lord .

Many have been prayed for and ministered to by the servants of God . God has used many pastors as an extention of his hand to bring about breakthrough in people's lives and those very people fail to acknowledge the power and grace of God as well as the vessel that God used .

We must always be grateful . The Bible says in 1 Thessalonians 5:18
"Give thanks in all circumstances for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus "

We should be thankful for the good things and the bad things that happen in this life because it is God's will for us. We should not limit our praise to the positive things but also for the negative because God sometimes uses the very things meant to be blessings to train us.

Proverbs 10:22 says ," The blessing of the Lord makes one rich,
And He adds no sorrow with it."

Some are living and walking in answered prayers and they do not realise because it is human nature to always want more. At some stage you did not have what you have today,you were not where you are today. They are living in the blessing and when challenges come they see it as sorrow but it could just be the blessing training you for greatness.

The blessing makes one rich...not just materially rich but it makes one whole. God has the ability to break a vessel into pieces during a training and pruning season and the very same God can put those pieces back together to make the vessel whole again. The condition of that vessel may be different but it is a marvel with all the cracks and chips. So the blessing with all the positives and negatives is still a blessing.

Learn to give thanks in all circumstances .we must teach our children gratitude, a thankful person creates opportunity for God to do more.

SUNDAY SERVICE 27 NOVEMBER 2022

THEME: BEING ROOTED IN JESUS TO GROW AND BEAR FRUIT.

Matthew 6:10

"your kingdom come,your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven."

What pleases God is seeing his will prevail.
The spirit always wants to do the will of God but the flesh does not. There is the will of the flesh and the will of God. The more you give into the will of the flesh ,the flesh will eventually overcome the spirit and the spirit will be silent.

When we do the will of God we will be rooted where God has placed us and we will bear fruit. We will not abandon what God instructs us to do. There is something God called you for, it may seem difficult now but if you stand ,the spirit will help you fulfill God's will.Challenges must not take you away from fulfilling God's will. God's purpose must prevail.

Most Christians today are not rooted because what they want in their lives ,they would rather attain it in their own way . They are not allowing God's will to lead,they have their own will . They want to force God to do what they want in their lives , and that is not possible. The blind man was healed in God's way,Jesus put mud in his eyes and told him to go to the river and wash his eyes. When the man followed God's will, we saw fruit as he returned seeing(John 9: 6-7). God's will is powerful to deliver our lives.

When someone does the will of God in their lives wonders will follow them. If you have challenges but are not doing God's will,those challenges will not go until you fulfill his will. God has given us everything we need to navigate this life,we already have riches,healing, liberty etc...When we do his will, we activate what is already there and freely given to us.

Joshua 6:18

"18But keep away from the devoted things, so that you will not bring about your own destruction by taking any of them. Otherwise you will make the camp of Israel liable to destruction and bring trouble on it."

Joshua 7:1

"1But the Israelites were unfaithful in regard to the devoted things a ; Achan son of Karmi, the son of Zimri, b the son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah, took some of them. So the Lord’s anger burned against Israel."

There are things God has set apart over our lives that do not belong to us. But today we find that we are unfaithful. There are things set aside for God but because of the pressures of life ,many end up taking those things.

We destroy ourselves when we are not faithful to the Lords will.
There are things we should not do because they will cause destruction in our lives. You cannot expect growth in your life when you are doing that which is not for you to do,you will be destroyed and defeated.

Saul was removed from his kingship because he disobeyed the word of God and did what the flesh and people wanted. Do God's will where God has called you to.
What will cause growth in our lives,miniseries, calling etc... is being faithful to what God called us for and obeying his will. By doing so ,you will defeat many battles and spirits seeking your life.

SUNDAY SERMON 20 NOVEMBER 2022

BE ROOTED IN JESUS TO GROW AND BEAR FRUIT.

We need to be rooted in Christ irregardless of the challenges of this world. Jesus is the foundation, therefore troubles can do nothing to us. If we are rooted in Him,we will not chase miracles but miracles will chase us . We will not chase promotions, marriages,money etc...because if we are rooted, those things will come to us. We will have the knowledge and wisdom to know that those things are meant for us.

Even in seasons of dryness, dryness will not shake you,you will know that your time is coming. You will stand and build on Him and you will enjoy your salvation.

Joy will not be brought by money, jobs or cars,it will be brought by your knowledge of Christ and who he is and knowing that those things that many are chasing are already yours.

Colossians 2:6-7

"6So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, 7rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness"

If we are not rooted in God, we will be like the fruitless fig tree that Jesus went to and cursed as it had no fruit. (Mathhew 21: 18-22)

There are two things that we can do in order to be rooted in Christ.

1. Place your trust in Jesus Christ.

Following Him means you placing your trust in Him at all times,even in your troubles you have confidence that He will deliver you.

Jeremiah 17:7-8

" 7 But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord,whose confidence is in him.
8They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream.It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”

There are things that happen in your life when you place your trust in God. Your roots will grow deeper .Things may not be going your way right now but continue trusting in God. Be like the tree planted by the riverside...you will be blessed .

In times of trouble we can see who places their trust in God. We can see who is rooted and who is not. When troubles come that's when you are approved .

There will be growth in your life when you allow your roots to go deeper in Jesus . It's a process to be rooted...eventually we will see fruits. Many don't allow the process in their lives so they don't grow and see fruits as they don't go deeper in Christ. For you to grow and have fruits,trust in God.

You must trust Him even in situations that don't seem to permit trust in Him...Lazarus was in the grave for four days but when Jesus arrived,there was life. Trust Him and you will defeat all the challenges of this life and people will know Jesus Christ because of you.

Continue walking with Christ,He is the one who holds your things. Do not be disappointed by delay. Those who trust in God have knowledge that they will receive what's theirs. Things will change.

Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego trusted in God and they announced that even if God didn't save them, they will still trust in Him. How many can say that today?

Many have placed timelines and limits in their lives. Some believe that if they are not married in their 20's its over for them...it's never too late. I declare that you will be a testimony getting married at 42...it's not over. We need to place our trust in God even in dry situations because God wants to do a miracle with your life.

John 2:1-10

2 . Do what He tells you to do

When you take his word,the word will cause you you to succeed. His instructions may seem foolish,but they have the power to change your situation so that you can grow and bear fruits. If you continue doing the word , it will cause you to be rooted. Those who grow and are fruitful in their salvation are those who will stand and do what he commands.

The wine ran out at the wedding but Jesus had a solution. The wine might run out in your marriage, it may run out in your salvation but do what He says and your marriages will be enjoyable, do what He says and there will be revival in your life.

The Shunammite women ( 2 Kings4 :8-37) built a room for the man of God,she obeyed the spirit of God that placed it in her hear to do so. The wine was finished in their marriage but the woman did what God said she must do and then there was a child. There was revival in their home.

Doing will cause you to grow...don't stay in one level of chasing miracles, healing and chasing things. Do not stay at the level of not understanding that things must chase you not the other way around. That's why the bible says in 1 Corinthians 1:18 "For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God."
This thing is Power! We go from one level to the next. We know that God will change our situations.

Satan wants you to lose the blessing by undermining the things of God. What we have is powerful. It may look weak now, you may look weak now like nothing is happening in your calling,in your ministry,in your career,in you life but God will change your life.

All you need to do is stay rooted and built up in Christ... Colossians 2:7

Many christians don't allow enough time for their lives to be built up in Christ. We must allow our roots to grow deeper so that we are not shaken even in our rising. We will be blessed and humble when our lives are rooted in Jesus.

Those who are not rooted, the truth eludes them,the truth of God is erased from their hearts and they are left with the lies of the devil because the truth is not rooted in their hearts. Do not allow the devil to take away the truth of who you are and whose you are!

Miracles are in the doing! They are found in trusting God. Stay rooted!

Sunday Sermon 30 October.

THEME: JUST HAVE FAITH

TITLE: UNSHAKABLE FAITH

You must have unshakable faith as a believer!

Roman's 4:20-21

"21Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, 21being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised. "

The troubles of this life steal people's faith, their faith is shaken and they no longer believe that God can deliver them from their problems.

Problems will come to test our faith,storms must come but they must leave a Christian with faith.

What will shame your enemies is for your faith not to move from you. Abraham never lost his faith,it stood and made him believe in God's promises.

You must believe in God's promises over your life. The challenges must not remove your faith in God irregardless of the challenge . There is no believer who does not have challenges.

You must know God's promises over your life. The promise is what will bring challenges. Challenges come because of the promises of God upon your life.

Joseph dreamt about his life and that's what made his brothers angry.
Your faith will be strengthened by your knowledge of God's promises over your life...write them down and revisit them from time to time.

God instructed Abraham to go outside and look at stars (Genesis 15:5) The picture strengthened his faith. God continually spoke to Abraham so that the picture of his future could be solidly engraved in him. The word of God will give you the right picture . Satan will minister what brings fear and not faith ,thats why your bible must be open...not closed,the word of God has promises for your life.

Never forget the promises of God. You do not need a Sangomo to tell you about your future because it is already bright.

ABRAHAM'S faith became stronger because of God's promises.

Abraham brought glory to God, when we glorify God,we see clearly where we are going, our journey is shaped by the glory we bring to God. Paul and Silas,in the midst of problems worshipped God. Their worship shook the foundation of the prison and not their faith.

Satan brings fake prisons to imprison you and you need to worship God to break those bars.

Daniel 6:13

13Then they said to the king, “Daniel, who is one of the exiles from Judah, pays no attention to you, Your Majesty, or to the decree you put in writing. He still prays three times a day.”

Daniel continued praising and praying to God despite the decree...he did not stop,his faith became solid and powerful.Men who stand by faith know the promises.

Witches are looking at you everyday,throwing stumbling blocks along your path and they are watching to see your response. Some sicknesses and challenges are brought by those witches...what are your enemies seeing you doing? they have assigned demons to check your life, will they find you standing on His promises or giving up because of the challenges?

God will fulfill what He has promised.Look at Joseph,God worked out everything for his good. Don't look at signs but look at the promise. Many look at the challenges and not the promise.The more you look at the challenge, the more powerful it becomes. The more revelation you have of your challenge, the stronger it looks and the more challenges it will bring. Look at the promise not the challenge.

Exodus 23:28-30

28I will send the hornet ahead of you to drive the Hivites, Canaanites and Hittites out of your way. 29But I will not drive them out in a single year, because the land would become desolate and the wild animals too numerous for you. 30Little by little I will drive them out before you, until you have increased enough to take possession of the land.

God will not remove your enemies altogether. When heading to your promises,God will not remove all the challenges in one year. The challenges you come across in your marriage will help you build your character. You will become the person God can use and it will take years. The word will bring power,always look at the promise.

When you enter into another level or dimension, challenges will come...and it is those very challenges that will propel you into another level.

The word of God is more powerful than that challenge. There will be spirits that God will not remove in order to build your faith. God can trust you with bigger things and cause you to take over once you have built up character.

The promises of God will make you stronger and release power over you life. HAVE UNSHAKABLE FAITH!
