Beloved,
Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave himself for our sins to rescue us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

We announced on Sunday the sad news of the passing of our dear Pastor and Apostle, John Wasserman. He remained an important part of HoGC beyond the launch and continued to speak into our lives until the time of his passing. Not only did he help with our launch in October 2022, but he was also the one who ordained all our elders.

ACF, the church Pastor John was leading, has arranged for a memorial service this Saturday at 11:00. Because of our relationship with Pastor John and ACF, we will be attending his memorial service to pay our last respects to this great servant of God. We will share the location for those who wish to attend.

Couples Connect outing

I believe the primary purpose for marriage even as God intended it, is to be a sacred union of one man and one woman, designed to reflect the intimate, faithful, selfless relationship between Christ and the church.

Marriage is a covenant.
Once marriage is viewed as a contract, it will be susceptible to feelings and not necessarily what God says about it and the roles He defines for each of the individuals.
It will come to: if she is not submitting, then I can’t fulfil that which is expected of me as a husband in this union.
