As Mary Magdalene and her companions mournfully approached the Garden Tomb, two angels appeared to them and shared the clarion call of all Christianity:

"Why seek ye the living among the dead?"

"He is not here, but is risen" (Luke 24:5-6).

This Easter season we also joyfully testify of this same eternal truth—Jesus Christ is risen. He lives!

The Savior of the world was crucified and, on the third day, rose from the dead, "the firstfruits of them that slept" (1 Corinthians 15:20). His Resurrection allows all to be resurrected, and through His grace, we can find peace "which passeth all understanding" (Philippians 4:7) and "be perfected in him" (Moroni 10:32).

We invite each of you during this Easter season to "seek this Jesus of whom the prophets and apostles have written" (Ether 12:41). As you do so, we testify that your Easter celebrations can strengthen your own faith and testimony that "death is conquered; man is free. Christ has won the victory" ("He Is Risen!" Hymns, no. 199).

Hold Fast to Your Faith (continuation)...

Sometimes I’m reminded how grateful I am for the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. The teachings of Christ bring peace, hope, and direction in a world that can often feel confusing. I’m thankful for the scriptures, living prophets, and the opportunity we all have to come closer to the Savior every day.
Faith doesn’t mean we never have questions, it means we choose to trust God and keep moving forward with hope. As we read the scriptures and pray sincerely, the Lord strengthens our faith and helps us feel His love.

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.” — Proverbs 3:5

“Press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope.” — 2 Nephi 31:20

Hold Fast to Your Faith

Brothers and sisters, faith in Jesus Christ is one of the most powerful forces we can have in our lives. Sometimes faith is easy, but often it is tested. There may be moments when questions come or when the path feels difficult.
But I testify that God lives, that He loves His children, and that He hears our prayers. Even when our faith feels small, we must hold fast to what we already know. Do not let questions or struggles erase the spiritual experiences God has already given you.
Remember the promise in the scriptures:

Ether 12:6 — “Faith is things which are hoped for and not seen.”

2 Nephi 31:20 — “Press forward with a steadfastness in Christ.”

The restored gospel, the Book of Mormon, and the work of the Lord on the earth today are witnesses that God continues to guide His children.
So if your faith is challenged, stay with the Lord. Stay with the Church. Stay with the truths you have felt in your heart. Light will come again, and your faith will grow stronger than before.
I testify that Jesus Christ lives and that His gospel brings hope, peace, and salvation.
Amen.

Yes, I believe the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true because it teaches the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe God restored His church through a prophet named Joseph Smith and gave us the Book of Mormon as another witness of Jesus Christ.

The Bible teaches that God is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8), and that He calls prophets to guide His people (Amos 3:7). We believe God did that again through Joseph Smith.

The Book of Mormon invites everyone to find out for themselves if it is true. In Moroni 10:4–5 it says that if we read it, pray sincerely, and ask God with real intent, He will reveal the truth of it to us through the Holy Ghost.✨️

Sometimes life feels dark and uncertain. The road ahead looks lonely, and we wonder if we will make it through. But the beautiful truth of the gospel is this: we are never walking alone.

Just like a loving father holding the hand of a child, the Savior walks with us through every storm, every doubt, and every broken moment. Even when we cannot see clearly, His light is leading us forward.
The Savior does not wait for us at the end of the road — He walks the road with us.

📖 Isaiah 41:13
"For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee."

📖 John 8:12
"I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life."

No matter how small, weak, or lost we may feel, Christ gently says:

“Take my hand… I will lead you home.”

✨ Walk with Him. Trust Him. Follow Him.✨️
