Stellenbosch United Church Our congregation’s history began in 1899, when it was first established as a Presbyterian Church.

We became the Stellenbosch United Church when the Presbyterian Church and the United Congregational Church in Southern Africa combined in 1990

In baptism we celebrate God’s deep love, the gift of new life, and the promise that none of us walk this journey of faith alone. As he is welcomed into the family of Christ, we are reminded of our shared calling to love, guide, pray for, and encourage one another in faith, today and always.
