Philippians 3:12-14
“Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” (NKJV)

God in Springbok!

We were privileged to be used as servants of the Almighty God in Springbok last weekend! We went to do training for the Shofar in Springbok in their technical and worship departments and I am sure they learnt a lot and it will have a permanent impact on the kingdom!

While the training was on, a group of us joined with some of their church leaders and bombarded the street with the presence of God! We saw many miracles, people turning to Jesus for the first time, hearing of His amazing love for them and feeling the Holy Spirit among them and flowing through them!
We saw some healings and experienced His compassion and provision in the streets of Springbok as well as in the hospital. I really enjoy the enthusiasm of the Namakwa people and the way they worship all together as one, from young to old, they do not judge, they do not hold back and they do not complain about anything they lack that we so often take for granted in our church!
My eyes were opened again when I saw boys between the ages of 10 and 12 walking the walk and ministering to other people who are hungry for the truth. I also experience God’s healing power when we prayed for a man who had severe back pain due to the fact that his one leg was shorter than the other. Him and his wife were so blessed and I believe they can now go out and shine the light again, I also realised that we can only do our little parts and be faithful in the little things when I spoke to three young men who said they are not ready to make the lifestyle change and surrender all to God, but I could see God touched them anyway and they are one step closer to their salvation!
I give God all the honour and the glory for the way He works through anyone, how He can make a divine appointment with a lady on the steps in front of the post office, or a small family with a new business trying to make living through serving others and meeting the King of Kings in the process! Or even a mad man with some funny views on life, or an old lady taking a rest after a long walk and a sore leg gets touched by the Almighty. We joined their church service the Sunday morning and learnt some more about the plan of God for everyone in the body in any place, no matter how hopeless it may look!

Thank you Jesus for making the weekend possible and blessing us to bless others, giving is most definitely the best way of receiving!

When we went to Springbok to serve the church there, we ministered to the people on the streets, asking them if we could pray for them, and if they are sure that they will spend eternity in heaven? We spread the good news of Jesus Christ on the streets and some cried and asked for prayer. There were people who received the Lord that day, one in the hospital we visited were 90 years old, and on her deathbed. We prayed for her and told her about Jesus and she cried and said yes, she wants Him as her Lord and Savior. She wanted to pass on because she was in so much pain, but God kept her alive for 90 years just to receive Him! It was a very emotional experience for me and the others, life is nothing without Jesus!
